You reaction to Kite death shows you that this show is not as plot armored as you think buddy. You might be surprised that this aint you regular typical shounen its why many came to love it. Its a great anime but i await your reactions to much more.

@@tl4038 Agreed, I had to power through Greed Island (don't even watch reactions to it), and Hunter Exam was alright as an introductory arc. Chimera Ant and Yorknew City are top tier though.
OmyKun I have the same exact experience. Greed Island was brutal at times, especially coming off of the Yorknew City arc

If you didn't notice, that was the only time in the series where kite used his ability and didn't complain about it being a bad roll.

Kite hates his ability and it becomes incredibly strong through his Nen Condition because he has no idea what it will be except it will be the "best suited ability" for the fight at hand. Everytime he's rolled, it's been a "bad roll" (probably to further increase it's power through his Nen condition) assuming he may have wanted a different ability for that fight (ex. He may have thought of something other than the scythe during the fight with all the Ants because Gon and Killua could've been killed in the OHK attack, but the slots gave him the Scythe so he had to do what he did).
Spoilers:
This time, he rolled an auto-regen ability... and didn't say it was a "bad roll". That means alot.
Guys i'm sure narmadus has seen the series and just doesn't want to spoil like you just spoiled him if he didn't see the series.

On a more serious note, I love the genuine portrayal of killua and Gons friendship, cuz as you said they absolutely need each other and the dynamic between the two is amazing, one of the best in anime hands down

This anime has always been a top anime. It not only explains things as it progress which is needed and many anime could learn from. But it captures comedic and serious values when needed.

I wasn't. I was more like, "Damn, he died!? They're effed!" Never understood why Kite was such a big deal until I learned of the manga omission. Had I read manga first, I might have felt a bigger connection to Kite and be super pissed the way he died.

I have been waiting for this for the longest time.
It's like Togashi was doing an experiment with expectation with this arc. You're led to think things are gonna go one way, then they go the complete opposite. Just like real life. You never know what can happen. That's a mark of great storytelling right there. After all, fact is stranger than fiction. If you can combine the two effectively, it can be gold. And with the character development? Done. Like you said man, HxH is goated for me too, and not just in anime. Wish we had more animation in the States that dealt with this kind of subject matter. Kids would grow up with all kinds of life lessons.
I agree, but some kids might be negatively affected watching such shows. It's not like most kids watch hxh in Japan

One thing I love about HxH it's that although Netero is strong and was at one point the strongest. Like any normal human regardless of potential or strength he has grown weaker due to old age... can't fight against that.
