Nice video, with excellent views on it, one thing everyone forgets and i just found out after reading the angels of caliban, the people of illirium was not all innocent, they were rebels of ultramar, they did not want to be under gullimans rule and guilliman knew about it and was still trying through diplomatic instead of wiping them out. The lion somehow knew or suspected that conrad was the one leading them, which is proven right when the lion finds him and duels with him againg and breaks conrads back.
By the way, the dark angels have two special traits that separated them form the other legions. One is being the first born, which makes them nebulously better in someway. And he was the only one is the Emperor trusted them to use the ultra war crime tier weapons, this is why the lion took that sketchy warp engine and doesn’t want Roboute to use the Pharos device. Lion is like “hey forbidden tech is my thing”. Some examples of that technology, if a dark Angel wants it he can get a plasma gun, during the horus heresy they had 8, yes 8, men of iron they would unleash on traitors and then re-rangle them, prototype hand held virus bomb technology, crazy shit only the lion was trusted enough to use.
Conrad was trapped on the ship but he wasn’t in prison he was skulking around like a serial killer, remember ship is like 4km long and Conrad likes his stealth
When I first got in this hobby I was first looking at all the legions and was going to be a Space Wolf player... Until I found Baldermort and some youtubers discussing the Dark Angels and ive been devoted to the 1st Legion since. Lion El Jonson has always been my favorite primarch so far for he is one of the few who knows now he is fallible.
That's what we want from these guys to understand that their mistakes have consequences that they are not infallible. When they understand this their purpose will be honed and their duty to humanity becomes paramount not the positions they might hold not the power they might possess but the duty to humanity that's all that matters.
The Watchers are Xenos creatures that live on Caliban and the Rock, serving the Dark Angels as their favoured servants. Even into battle but not to fight and only support like young squires carrying equipment for them. Keeping the Lion safe in the heart of the Rock for 10k years until he wakes up from his coma and the events in the video happen. The Pharos Beacon is similar to the Astronomicon as a lantern is to a lighthouse in the Warp based on the Pharos Great Lighthouse of Alexandria, Egypt. It's Necron technology powered by the Ctan Shard Zarhulash the Potentate that got overloaded and destroyed by Barabas Dantioch of the Iron Warriors to stop the Night Lords from using it to find the Nightfall, the Gloriana flagship of Konrad Curze to join the Siege of Terra en masse. This would also unleash a massive psychic echo through space and time, attracting the attention of the scouts of the Tyranids which put the galaxy on their map for their arrival in 40k.
Wait so the Tyranids were not attracted to the galaxy by the Astronomicon but by the Shockwave ctan shard produced!? *sigh* The galaxy is really paying from that Heresy in more ways than one.
14:41 From what I recall, Leman Russ sent a group of space wolves to monitor Guilliman following the outbreak of the Heresy. In the event he turned traitor, they would have to kill him. I think he might have done it with other primarchs, but I’m not too sure. It could also be that they were on the Ultramar side of the ruinstorm.
They might have but the Custodians definitely did, that's why before the Word Bearers kickstarted the Heresy. They had to kill off the squad assigned to watch over them at great cost.

The Amber King just uploaded a new video about Primarch Guilliman. It's about 5 hours long.
I recommend it my lord commissar
Yes, thank you, but I have other requests in the queue. Roboute will have to get in line. 😅👍

Being in the first legion has it's perks I see. The Emperor really trusted Lion and his legion.
Now you can react to Gulliman.
