The reason the forunners didn't try to save themselves is because the halo array doesn't kill the flood. It kills it's food. The halo array was only able to wipe sentient life and to my knowledge did not destroy the flood. The flood only died because it died off. No sentient life, no food for consumption.

Simplest answer to the food stalls and other materials here. Is that it just materializes out of thin air on the counters at random. The world of The Foundation is one where that sort of "magic" (for lack of a better word) is the norm. This is a place where the entire big sliding glass door entrance structure thing, can just vanish/dematerialize right in front of you, it's safe to assume new stuff like the food can just poof into existence with no explanation.

As a note for the playlist, you may want to go through and un TH-cam Studio for sorting them, change the sorting to "Oldest First" instead of the default where it puts the new ones at the top, so that they aren't shown in reverse order. Makes it so we don't have to manually run through the playlist in reverse and can just let it autoplay.

I've seen this movie several times and I keep noticing new things every single time I do.

After having built a horizon needle myself using the synaptic lathe, using it as intended does uh... end people as it were, albeit over a long period of time, but still horrible. It is possible to gain without the use of the synaptic lathe but it's HARD... i managed to get to the horizon needle without needlessly killing people, but only putting 40 people in the lathe is SLOW

Sparti clones are inferior to kamino clones they come from sparti pods fully grown they are the clone equivalent of a b1 they aren't trained there memory imprinted with training its like reading a book on it versus actually building the skill thats why kamino clones look down on them oh and sparti pods can make them in a 1 yr which can cause clone madness if it was any shorter

Fun fact! Guilliman actually confronted Matheu after he had let the Emperor-possessed girl loose, and he was so unbelievably furious at Matheu that he considered killing him! But as he lifted his Hand of Dominion, he actually saw that Matheu was ECSTATIC at the idea of a son of the Emperor killing him, and he refrained from it due to being so disgusted 😂😅😂

This makes me feel old; The Armageddon stuff was new when I was a kid, now not only is it 30+ years ago, it's old even in the settings; I mean, Sebastian Yarrick is dead, he has been dead for over a century now at the current point in the Universe's timeline, that's right, it's been roughly 200 years have passed since the events we all saw when 3rd edition was current to today in the Era Indomitus. I knew he was going to be killed off when I found out GW discontinued his model a while back, man he was a cool Commissar. Pretty sure the only three "mortals" alive still today in the setting from that period (aside from the Primarchs, Chaos Space Marines, Eldar, Necrons, the Emperor, Belisarius Cawl, the Primarchs, Dreadnaughts and pretty much everyone else who lives for multiple millennia) is pretty much Ghazghkull, Luis Dante (and a couple of other Blood Angels) and Titus (seriously I can count the number of Space Marines who have 4+ service studs on one hand - 3 of whom are Blood Angels).

Also if you look closely: The Final boss, the "Nihilanth" has slave shackles. Although it enslaved the Vortigaunts, something else was enslaving this creature in turn. Care to guess who that could be? Hint: It's not the G-Man

There's a theory that those devices thr slave aliens are using at 28:00 are like the "Thumpers" in HL2 that repel Antlions. I haven't finished the Black Mesa version of this chapter yet, though.

Little trivia about the game itself: The music track that goes with this boss fight, "Jungle Drums", (which Ross muted) uses stock samples that were also used in an episode of "Courage the Cowardly Dog"

Me hizo mucha gracia ver como defendías la idea de un estado que defienda la naturalidad de la vida. Hasta ahora hay 4 formas de ascender o mejorar nuestra especie de la manera más natural hasta la más artificial. De forma genética, psionica, cibernética y sintética. Desde mi punto de vista no tendría que ser estrictamente un imperio que viera una sola forma de ascender. Juego de vez en cuando con el origen del ejercito clon y siempre busco la forma de ascender de forma psionica siendo un imperio materialista fanático. Evitando prohibir la vida sintética sino más bien conviviendo con ella y dividiendo las funciones. Generales y almirantes clones psionicos con gobernantes y científicos sintéticos. Aprovechando las fortalezas de ambas poblaciones. Claro además de tener una segunda especie orgánica psionica sin ciudadanía plena para suplir el limite de 100 clones. Una vida estratificada pero sin ser prohibitiva. Realmente me gusta este juego por la forma en que acaban conviviendo todas estas ideas sobre la existencia. Sigue, esperare las nuevas reacciones en un futuro cuando se acumulen algunas más. Este desarrollo de historias enamora.
