@@acowfish A matter of how exactly the flow goes and speed - the carrier scene doesn't have enough backwards movement to cause a compressor stall, few other scenes in the anime version would require some interesting intake redesign (another prototype of the FFR-41 literally sends off another plane by rotating so it was pointing backwards to movement) but the anime did a "rule of cool" on a lot of things. Still awesome to watch.

Current airforce generation is different from anime future generation. There is difference from jet engine function and height of aircraft carrier. And this is game so it might difficult to show that scene
i love that scene from yukikaze but i seriously doubt that the morgan (ADFX-02) would be able to pull that off i think either the ADF-01 Falken or the ADF-11F Falken would be more likely to pull that off

It is possible to do that in real life if jet had 1:1 thrust to weight ratio
The F15 has a 1.17 to 1 thrust to weight ratio
