My husband made this today. It's very nice and the measurements of everything were perfect. Thank you from NZ. You are awesome, Romi! 🤗
So happy to hear this! Thank you so much for your feedback! 💗 and you’re just as awesome!
As a single dad who never really did much cooking when I was married. Well now I have to cook 😁
I've learnt meat curries and mix up dinner with spanish and italian to keep it different for the kids. Need to learn to do dhaal and been craving good palau, like Fiji palau. I came across your video and I'm going to try and make it for the first time. Thanks for your knowledge and insight.
First of all, kudos to you for being a single dad! I know being a parent is hard work, a single one at that. I hope you enjoy my recipes. My husband is Latino, so we do a lot of mix culture foods in my house too ☺️ let me know if there’s anyway I can help with recipes etc. 💕
Bula ... been trying to learn how to cook these Palao haha now I know
Aloha & Bula, thank you for the homemade recipes. It brings back great memories of the foods I grew up with. Vinaka
Bula! Thank you for the kind words! I hope these recipes can bring a little of home to you 🩵
Finally pulao recipe will definitely make it soon
Let me know what you think of it! It took me some time, but I am so happy with this recipe! It’s foolproof and so delicious! I hope you love it!
Yesss! Making this! So so so thankful for your sharing of this recipe! 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Nice craving 4 it. u might like to add that if one has curry leaves den use it instead of bay leaf. Curry leaves r a must in Indo-Fijian cooking and adds so much more flavor then bay leaves. If one doesn't have curry leaves then bay leaf is an alternative. Or u can also use both together. But curry leaves gives a whole different taste.
Thanks for the tip! I do have that written out in the recipe - I don’t remember if I added both during filming, but yes, both are great flavorful additions to pulao! Thank you for stopping by! ♥️
Thank you so much for sharing your recipe - im going to give it try 👍
You’re making me sooo hungry! Whole spices are a hassle to deal with when your hungry and want to get down to business! I’ll have to try your version for sure!
It’s one of my pet peeves! I absolutely hate biting into a whole spice when I’m eating something! Ruins the whole dish 😂 and yes, especially when you’re hungry and gobbling it up!
You have a very nice speaking voice and of course the Pulao looks wonderful
Yum, did mine tonight, came out delicious. Would you suggest adding more garlic to give it more umami?
Omg! It looks so so good! Now I am hungry!!! 😋
I will certainly do that! Free range chicken.. wonder if I can get that at my grocery store... 🧐🧐🧐🌷💕🦋🌷🌷🦋🌷💕🦋.. cheers, babe ♥️
Where do you live? Here in the US, I’ve found that organic pasture raised is the best!
