New subscriber. ❤ I'm in a different season of life (grandmother to 8 ... so far), but your video had me remembering a few things that helped me as a single mom. I definitely did the dishes 3 times a day (breakfast, lunch, dinner) or more (baking day). We didn't have a dishwasher, and only had 1 of each dish or cup per person, and I think that really helped me keep the kitchen tidy. And laundry - when they were younger, I put all their dirty clothes into one basket, and when that basket reached a specific level it was my cue to do a load. When they got a little older, I put the boys' laundry in one basket and my daughter's with mine ... again, washing once the basket reached a certain height. And then eventually thry all did their own laundry. Once the boys started working like me, my daughter and I did their laundry. At this season of my life (still single) I'm still learning how best to order my days to keep everything on track. Blessings, Joanne in SW MO
Absolutely, there are different systems needed for everyone at every stage of life! Thanks for sharing your past systems with me, was fun to read those! I definitely think I need to declutter a few more cups because my kids are notorious for making dirty dishes multiply 😂😅 Thanks again for sharing! Glad you stopped by! ❤️
Man do we have so much in common 😅 Except for the part about loving January… but I’m trying! I think you’re so right about getting outside with no tech, that’s a habit I can improve on. How’d the family like the bread?
Lol January, it can be a love/hate relationship depending on the day 😂 The kids liked the bread and even requested a sandwich for school with it the next day so that’s a win so far! 👏 And yes, less tech at all times is always a goal here! 😅 Thanks for stopping by!
Thank you so much for that feedback, Robin! I’ll definitely put that on my list of more video ideas! So appreciate your sweet comment, thanks for stopping by!
Love your vlog. The bread was beautiful, probably due to the extra help you got. I love cows, and it's fun to see how they all stand perfectly still and stare at you.
Thank you! I sometimes take for granted how neat it is to have cows right alongside our road. And thank you, my little helper had a great time. Appreciate your sweet comment, hope to see you back here again soon ❤️
Absolutely, hope it works for ya! I’m a bit competitive by nature so setting timers and accomplishing quick tasks always motivate me! Thanks for commenting today ❤️
That’s great to know, thank you! I love systems and processes 🤓 I systemize everything in my business, and I’ve learned to do it at home as well to simplify things! I will definitely have to share in and a future video!
Hey, it seems we have a bit in common. Fellow youtuber, homeschooling mom of 4, and we live on a little farm in MO (near KC). Just wanted to say hi! And keep up the good work. 😉
What a small world, so nice to meet you! 🥰 I’ll have to pop over to your channel for all the mom of 4 tips! 😅 Thank you so much for the sweet comment! ❤️
Just found you today. What a pleasant video and love the tips. I’m a grand parent and consider your making habits to reset can apply to my age also. I’ve been working on a few of my own, which were in sync with yours, but have added new. The bread looked delicious.
Thank you and of course! No matter what age or stage our homes need Homemaking! There’s always chores to be done and having good habits helps! Glad you enjoyed the video, thanks for stopping by!
Hi Lauren, I just found your channel & really enjoy your videos. Your home is lovely! Your tips are handy, I would really love to start making bread, I look forward to a recipe 😊
I come back and make the bed after my morning Bible study time. I’ve read your bed needs to cool off from our body heat so moisture isn’t trapped under the covers! It prevents bacteria from growing. And we love @dailygraceco
Well then it sounds like I’m doing it right then lol! Good to know! And yes, daily grace co is so good and beautiful, love it! Thank you so much for your comment today! ❤️
Love your videos with your cute little helper! Can hardly wait to try the bread recipe! I’ve been really trying to go through the mail as soon we get it and drinking more water.
That’s an awesome pursuit! The Bible is a great priority! I try to commit to 10 pages of nonfiction but it doesn’t happen every night… sleep is also a priority of mine in the stage of life. Lol! 😆❤️ Have you tried audio books? I go through stages where I really enjoy those while I’m doing dishes or laundry!
Hey there, welcome! I got those years ago as a wedding gift. The brand is USA PAN (back then bed Bath and beyond was around and that’s where you could get them but I’d search online.) A lot of my cookie sheets and baking pans are from that Brand and I’ve been super happy with them! I’ve had them for over 12 years now I guess! 🤯👏 Time flies!

Love this! 💕

Dishes in demand is a good phrase. I have been reading the Bible everyday but it doesn't leave me much time to read other books

@@rustichoney I haven't because with five kids my house is very loud and I'm not a fan of ear buds to tune it out
Just found you where did you get your load tins? They're the perfect size. 😊

I am trying to come up with ways to like January… so far I have it’s getting lighter longer and the schedule is lighter!
Those are both great things! 👏 Ready for more sunshine and longer days too! It’s nearly already Feb though! 😅
My kitchen aid mixer struggles with mixing dough I bought a Bosch mixer game changer
I’ve heard fantastic things about Bosch! I’ve had my first KitchenAid for over 12 years now! I’ll probably hold onto it for now ❤️
It may need to be oiled. I recently learned that. Tutorials on TH-cam.
@@singerjo5791 it was brand new
