@@AuntEmsQuilts Hi Aunty Em. I know you have an acuquilt cutter, and they have a die for a wedding ring quilt. Is it worth investing or is it easier to hand cut. Also, could you do it as a quilt as you go, as I use a 65 year old singer for all my sewing. My mum was given it when she was 21 and it still sews a straight seam better than any newer machine I’ve tried. Otherwise I would have to make up the flimsy and have it long armed. Thanks for your videos and your help.
@@deannesherriff3247 When using crumb fabric on the go you need to be careful about layers. Because seams add three and for the Accuquilt cutter to work well you can't exceed six. I've not tried it with the double wedding ring die. You could give it a go. Just be careful of your seams and the bulk they add.
@@AuntEmsQuilts Well, I made an ocean themed quilt and I need to put some fish on it to make it look more cohesive. I would love to show you, if I can figure out how to load pictures on my computer where would I send them? FYI-I do not have instagram and I absolutely abhor Facebook.
I just love how you use the fusible interfacing and stitch right on top of the drawing, seems so much easier. I looked almost an hour to find this video that I remember seeing over a year ago. Thanks for the knowledge
You are so welcome! Glad you were able to find me again. I know have a book on this method. If you're interested, you can find it here, www.etsy.com/listing/1080710443/crumb-quilts-book-a-no-waste-way-to-bust
Really great tutorial. My Studio is being over taken by my precious scraps. I am Cleaning / organising my scraps at the moment. Sorting colours and sizes a I can’t wait to start sewing this method. Thank you for your post. ❤️😘

Do you have a video of your double wedding ring? I love this technique
Not yet. I'll work on it.
Aunt Em's Quilts I’ll be looking forward to it to ! Your method gives such a fresh Modern Quilting look to a vintage pattern!
Gorgeous!! Thank you!
Thank you for taking time to comment. It means a lot.
I am new to sewing. why did you only put fusible webing on the edge to fold under??
Because it give a finished edge when you turn it. So you can then applique it to your project.

@@AuntEmsQuilts Thank you I got it
Links don't work for patterns.
thanks for letting me know.
Do you use your Accuquilt to cut shapes from your crumb fabric creations?
I have. You have to be careful with layer though because of the seams.
