Excellent choice with aerospace engineering. I'm a senior in aerospace at the moment so I can tell you that it sucks but once you get through it you're set up to make a bunch of money.

the kv220, other than in a downtier, is relatively mediocre. However when downteired its very good. It used to be even better though

Hey Phly! About 3 years ago you made a video about the AMX-30B2 BRENUS and how it was one of the worst MBTs in the game. Well today the BRENUS has had quite a glow up, as it now boasts a pretty nice array of tools at the comfortable BR of 8.3, such as thermals, a laser rangefinder, IRCM, and a pretty nice lineup to back it up. So I encourage you to take a look at this underappreciated vehicle again (day 29)

Has anyone else heard the ear candy on the engine start up of the Arado 235-C? Still my favorite bomber in the game by far, pairs so well with a strong German lineup. BMP, Leo 1, Wiesel, and Marder each of which is single-handedly capable of getting you to the Arado. The only thing that the B has that the C doesn't is the rocket thrusters after you land, but the C has forward guns to stay in after bombs have been dropped

I JUST now came to a realization Phly. If the little one grows old enough to play on the computer would you be willing to let him play alongside you while you teach him about the history of the tanks, what tanks to be careful of, and about angling would just be the icing on the cake. Heck, if WarThunder stays constant in interest until your own son plays we might see him entertain us and our kids….whoa such a weird thought!
When I first started playing War Thunder, this was one of the vehicle that I wanted the most but I didn't have enough money to get it especially with my country's currency and now I have the income but the price went up so much because it got removed from the tech tree. I guess I will never be able to play with this monster but nice video Phly! Since 2016 I'm here with you:) o7

Best/worst memory of this thing is just watching one drive from their spawn, through the cap and directly into one of our spawns without losing any crew.
Tried to kill it from the flank with 17pdr apds which should've penned since they were giving me a flat broadside but after 6 shots not a single penetration so that was fun.

I stopped playing War Thunder myself years ago, but your videos keep me interested in the game still, if not as a players myself.

Somewhat affordable for 158 bucks now people. It was at around 145 before, but get it if you can and want it. The price could very well rise beyond 200 at any time.

the Churchill MK7 used to be a survive all game tank, now its turret face is cheese, shame, once bounced 60 shots in one battle with it, good times
phly when i look at my son and i just smile from ear to ear and just think about how much i love him! Its the greatest feeling in the world!
The kv-220 is one of my favorite tanks ever made, I love that it's just a huge slab of metal. And the stretched hull looks way better than normal kv-1, kv-1 looks a bit short and stubby in my opinion.
I love all the crazy Kv-4 proposals too, but that was never actually constructed, so.
The biggest threat to the KV-220 is a PE-8. You can't go long before getting teamkilled.
best way to fight this thing is with derp guns! the top of the turret is 40mm and the top of the drivers compartment is 30mm.

the KV-220 is pretty much my Favorite 5.7 tank, the coupola is also a meme worth of Armor, people expect it to be a weakspot, but its quite well armored.

We call this bad boy t150 in world of tanks even in that game the armor is insane for a tier 6 tank
I will have days tank RB just..sucks for me, I'll do so bad(grew up with AB). And then I just click on the KV-220, Soviet M4A2 and Pe-8 lineup and I start enjoying the game again. This thing is a beast.

The KV-220 is an excellent tank, even in 6.3 battles it easily holds its own and overall it's a blast to play. I got mine after selling a T-10A coupon and buying 5 keys with it, subsequently opening the 220.
We understand you have a son by now.
