On the Vivo, you can play with shadow areas and achieve better results. That's important when you try to maintain a good dynamic range and avoid losing details due to extreme editing.
I thought the whole point of RAW pictures is to get as neutral/natural picture as possibe and then edit it as you wish. That grass on Samsung shot does not look unprocessed...
can you please upload the ultra raw files of the VIVO ? and .. the vivox100 ultra produce , for each of its camera a max 12mpx raw ? thanks because actually I m interested for this and the oppox7 find ultra, that can take 50mpx max res to each camera. thanks in advance for you answer. regards
nice video bro, i do like to see more content for RAW capability for low light and how it perform when there are human and animal in there too. And might test how "stable" are their RAW, example how much color bit that both device could take in their SRAW/ERAW and is it every shot also result the similar dynamic color and EXIF, especially Vivo since i heard many chinese complain that their processing are not stable, example take 5 similar photos, but only 1 shot might look good.
From my observations, it appears that the best RAWs are from the Xiaomi 14 Ultra/Pixel 9 Pro/Vivo X200 Pro. These are my top 3 favorites. Pixel phones have the best upscaling/superresolution/demosaic algorithms, and with a 48-megapixel camera sensor that actually has 12 megapixels of real detail, it can extract the most.
No, both phones reproduce very accurate colors and natural rendition, the only issues are with some titns in low light scenarios on the vivo, but that's not dramatic
I live in the Caribbean and it is very hard to import the vivo I was almost ready to buy the samsung due to easy availability I just sold my iPhone 15 pro max thanks to this video I'm definitely going for the vivo tho the samsung has more features but cameras are the main thing I use my phone for I never use the spen I never use dex
I played with the S24 Ultra a while, specifically with RAW files - and they were crap. Worst "RAW" files I ever worked on.. processed and not much latitude to work on. This was a few months ago.
Need one clarification: The RAW images of S24 Ultra are shot in which Resolution? 12 MP / 24 MP / 50 MP ?? ( Because it will matter a lot in results & quality)
Though Samsung looks vibrant BUT it defeats the purpose of RAW. The RAW means minimum to NO processing and for some weird reasons Samsung choose to process the RAW files too. Pathetic Samsung
Yeah first thing I do on any galaxy since the Note 8 is to turn off the stupid digitalization and sharpening in the camera settings... It's just pure dumb not sure what even the purpose is...
@Joe-ritz on my s24 now it's called Intelligent optimisation in the camera app settings, which you can set to minimum and maximum, and scene optimizer too. Also, when you shut this thing off, you can take pictures much faster... which was always curious to me why they did it in the first place. Only consumes more energy. Maybe they like it in Korea with their fake faces, so fake photos too??
My opinion is that Samsung s24 ultra cannot be inferior in detail in 5x mode - since this is a full optical zoom and we get an image from the entire sensor without loss of quality. This is what we see in the test. However, even in this mode, strange algorithms work that add excessive sharpness and ruin the natural depth of the frame. I believe that it is also necessary to conduct tests at 10x and 30x to see the limits of the matrices of both gadgets.
Thank you so much! Your work and quick response to our requests deserve tons of likes!
Tnx man, really want to cover it all

Finally someone tested X100 ultras super RAW
Each picture has very organic processing and detail
Thanks, sir for the comparison. I love to see it after the August mega Update for the S24 Ultra.
Can't wait either
Is the video zoom lens for the ViVo phone not x30 as shown in the official advertisement for the phone !!!
Thanks
Check my reply on your other conment
Where on the Vivo do you find the raw menu ?
Thank you very much.
What Smartphone would you recommed just in Camera Zoom between 3x - 40x ?
I thought the whole point of RAW pictures is to get as neutral/natural picture as possibe and then edit it as you wish. That grass on Samsung shot does not look unprocessed...
RAW yes, but this is ExpertRAW on Samsung, HDR processing, combination of multiple raw photos.
And SuperRAW on Vivo, same idea.
@@VelianSpeaksTech yeah, it's good idea but poor execution imo. Samsungs terrible processing is what actually ruins pictures the most.

Will you make a video comparing real raw files, please? In this cases, the expert raw already over process the image...
Thx you so much

Thanks for the video, did you used 50MP on the vivo?
Super RAW High Resolution on purpose vs 50MP on S24U wide and ST [5x]
sir, want to know that, which shows more natural colors of the two. Please do the reply.
Both
@@VelianSpeaksTech don't you think, vivo make the images bright?
No, both phones reproduce very accurate colors and natural rendition, the only issues are with some titns in low light scenarios on the vivo, but that's not dramatic
i have the same problem on my galaxy s23U expert raw image heavly oversharpend but in pro mode the opposite no oversharpness like the vivo x100u

50MP on wide camera 1X and 50MP on ST 5X camera, I clarify this in the intro.
@@VelianSpeaksTech okay got it

Ще се опитам, инак в сравнението срещу S24U и iPhone 15 Pro Max имаше портрети

@@VelianSpeaksTech and well done for the hard work
Samsung camera is just a hype...its never good
Use simple raw on S24

Not really, this isn't just RAW, its Expert RAW, it stacks together multiple RAW photos and applies HDR and etc.
@@bruceparker3139 that's exactly what I'm thinking
There should be iphone 15 pro max instead of Samsung s24 ultra
Vivo❤😊
These don't look to be unprocessed raw images
Xiaomi 14 ultra vs Vivo x100 ultra,. Zoom battle ,please.
Vivo X100 Ultra ❤
Samsung absolutely have no idea with Raw as they even overprocess the raw. WTH 😅😅😅

Well that's what I expected but it seems that Samsung Isocell HP9, the 200MP tele camera in the Vivo is strong..
Si puede tener menor calidad, porque depende a la final mucho de la calidad de las lentes
it's very simple. the sensor of the vivo is way bigger and has far better resolution.
I am pretty sure you can say "s24 ultra" more often in one video.
