As a real woman, a s**ual assault survivor and having grown up in a home with domestic violence; I have been informed by a very dear loved one who identifies as a transgender woman that the safety, dignity, modesty and bodily privacy of women do not matter. I've been told by my loved one; as all women have been told by the transgender organizations and activists; that yes, not only are women uncomfortable and unconsenting to having men violate our sex segregated spaces, but r*pes and s**ual assault on women in sex segregated spaces will certainly increase. But we've been told it is not enough women to matter, and this is just the price women have to pay in order to allow free and unfettered access of our sex segregated spaces to any and all men who have or claim to have a transgender identity. That is not something women do to other women. Asking people who identify as transgender and other gender identities to use gender neutral restrooms and other gender neutral spaces is painfully little to ask, and would take into consideration the safety and privacy of the transgender person as well as that of straight women and even straight men. Yet the transgender and other genders community refuse to be fair to the rest of us. It appears to have less to do with the safety, dignity and bodily privacy of transgender people and more to do with a zeal for violating nonconsenting women.
