Is it ok for some wires to be longer than other when you go to fit it around the stone?
I guess it depends on what you mean? I would say as long as the shortest wire can be included in the bail and reach the back of the pendant, I would say that you're in the clear. :)
Is the cabochon 30 mm tall?
It should be about 14mm tall. Hope that helps!
