Hello dear viewers of the Alex Wild channel! I haven't worked so much for a long time. It was just a great day in the dugout today. This time I insulated the roof, installed a window, made a tunnel and connected the main room to the second room. Even made a floor! The log house looks better and better. Now the area has also almost doubled. The most interesting thing is that the second room became warm as soon as I closed the window in the roof. Imagine 21 degrees Celsius when it's -5 degrees outside. The living conditions are comfortable. The dugout is big and cozy now. The dinner was very unusual. The rabbit recipe is very simple! It needs to be soaked in water and lemon juice for 8 hours. And here's how to cook it in the wild, watch the video. A wonderful day, a wonderful evening and a wonderful mood. Enjoy watching!

Love the comments, think they definitely add something! The shelter looks impressive! I'm going to do one with my son at the back of our garden which borders a wood. Not quite as wild/exciting, but it's a private wood surrounded by houses! Shelter won't look anywhere near as impressive saying that! My son, Joshua, aged 6, say's "he's very happy that you give us ideas"! He loves the videos!
The doorway opening to the new addition has to feel great. The room turned out awesome. Such hard work but it is so cool to accomplish. Well done Alex!!! Love what you do!!

Preparedness goes beyond the shelter itself, it is a major portion though.
With what can happen at any time, have supplies to last a long time.

Seconded. Extra food, matches, and a few other key items would be a good addition to the shelter.
@@gsmontag yes, but it goes well beyond that alone. Non perishable food, a small amount of additional tool, extra cloths, etc.
What Alex is facing is not just an extended camping trip, but true survival against the threat of tyrannical domination. ;-)

Looks great, heaps of progress. Window might leak rain a bit since it opens inwards, but maybe can be sealed later. Very cool, thanks for sharing.

Yeah, I'm also not just wandering about the rain-but heavy rains since it is below the ground; obviously the rain goes down inside. And also the safety incase of fire from the entrance itself. Well, probably the widow is a fire exit. But hmm.... just wandering. Anyways I enjoyed watching.
Maybe put a small roof on top so the water glides of next the window

The sky window needs to be rasied above the rooftop, that way the rain/snow won't leak in. Alex you, can do upgrade on the sky window. I like the fireplace, how you upgraded now you have 2 pot plates to cook on your brickstove.
Excellent work mate! It is slowly becoming an underground castle. And that looked like a gourmet rabbit, thanks for giving me the incentive to prepare it like that! Subtitles at key points are nice addition... Keep up the good work ;)

I have never had rabbit that was as delicious as my mum cooked, I'll try your pickling recipe and will be happy if it comes close, rabbits are very expensive to buy here, many thanks for the recipe.

Hiya Alex. Try the Same with a chicken. But with chicken, you stuff it with one perforated Lemon inside the chicken. Team the chicken up and send it to your wonderful oven. Salt and Pepper go also inside the chicken before sewed. Have fun

If you raise that window and angle it just a bit, with a coarse of small logs, you could maintain most of the natural light but also sheet water away.
Alternatively you could build the raised coarse over the window. Still angle it and add a storm lid to keep water out

Hello, As a child, growing up, I found big bush growing that was so huge, 14ft., that I could part the bush and crawl inside and sit down. Me and my neighbor went out there almost everyday. Oh, and let me you, fire and dried bush don't live together so good.
