An interesting thing, a dugout by a stream can become a whole comfortable house. After all, there is water here, soon there will be an oven that I can heat in winter, only electricity is missing...I'll try to figure it out in this cozy place. For dessert, you are waiting for the beautiful inhabitants of the forest, filmed by my camera trap. One animal just surprised me.

I like the setup of this dugout: the overhang, the seating, the terrace, and the ease of reaching the fire pit are well thought out.

I did not know either. As a heart patient - 1990 - 4 in a little over 24 hours. One thing I know - pay attention to your body. It knows best. Currently, 34 yrs a survivor. I plan on living for 100 yrs. Care to join me? ;P

Consider painting the walls white to reflect the light. Possibly a reflective material on the roof would help a lot as well like a sheet metal inside for spreading the light even. Awesome job so far.

And this is the reason why people can't do wild camping in Western Europe. If the government forbids wild camping, they can control you when you use their infrastructure with your home. This is absolutely FREEDOM what Alex Wild did. Great house, really well made! :D

I found your videos by accident about 6 months ago and they have brought me great relaxation and calm. When did you put in the new seating area at your cabin entrance? I would love to watch the video. Keep up the great work Alex making these videos is a big commitment. Still make sure to pace yourself and take it slow and easy. Recovery takes time.

Great to have portable electricity and lights in your dugout. I can see inside through your door cracks from the outside with the lights on. It is better to insulate your door before the start of winter. It already start to get cold.
