    Folks complaining about the cost have no idea about the huge investment it would take to get something like this off the ground. Like all tech, price will fall over time as pets commoditise and sales volumes increase. Personally it looks like it’s be worth every penny even at this price.

    • @kaliningradtoczechrepublic8162
      @kaliningradtoczechrepublic8162 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Can you explain why i get a unmotorised board for 2k. But adding an e motor somehow adds 10k to sales price. I know batteries and stuff cost a lot but 10k? Really?

    • @bondi5000
      @bondi5000 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      B-1 Battle Droid you’re making the mistake of only looking at the hardware costs. There would be an enormous amount of RnD, testing, prototyping, software etc etc... I think $12k is cheap all that considered. Prices will fall but without early adopters paying high prices to support early versions the majority will never see the low cost version. If you can’t afford it then just be thankful to those willing to spend top dollar which paves the way for the lower cost versions further down the track.

      Thanks Jeremy. Ride time varies depending on the wing size and rider weight. Using the 250 wing and a ride of 175 lb we’ve been able to get almost 1.5 hours of ride time!

    How does the shape of the nose effect how it carves when it’s 2 feet out of the water?

    • @JetSurfingNation
      @JetSurfingNation 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The smaller size lift carves really well.

    • @Therapistinthewhitehouse
      @Therapistinthewhitehouse 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      JetSurfing Nation jet boards & efoils
      That doesn’t answer my question, if it’s not in the water what difference can it make to carving? Only the foil can influence that, or am I missing something?

    • @JetSurfingNation
      @JetSurfingNation 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Therapistinthewhitehouse Sorry maybe I misunderstood. What are you comparing to? Carving on a jetboard vs carving on an efoil?

    • @Therapistinthewhitehouse
      @Therapistinthewhitehouse 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It clearly says at 1:05 that the shape of the nose makes it easier to carve, then shows a picture of the nose 2 feet out of the water, where it can have zero influence on the boards interaction with the water.

    • @JetSurfingNation
      @JetSurfingNation 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Therapistinthewhitehouse the footage shown is just a commercial footage. In real conditions it's not always that clean and glassy. There is a lot of chop, so the smaller the board, the longer the mast - the easier to carve. As for shape of the nose it's most likely just a "marketing update". In my opinion the size of the board and the mast is much more important for carving

      I have owned my Lift Foil 3 for about 2 months. They say up to 2 hours in the water. I'm getting about 1 hour and 40 minutes in the water consistently. It takes 2 hours to charge. The product is incredible quality, all carbon fiber, very rugged. VERY happy with my purchase, am pretty much addicted to eFoiling at this point.
