It all depends on the person but normally it will be less than two sessions. The learning process is what it is all about. If you learn on your own it might be a little longer if you take a lesson from a LIFT affiliate it will shorten your falls for sure! liftfoils.com/dealer-locator/ We are dropping a video this Monday that will really help everyone on their firs E-foil ride! Made for anything with water! :). Waves are really fun yep! A charge can run anywhere from 1 hour to 2 hours all depending on wing size. With a 2 hour charge time.
Jeremy, Well it can be done and really just takes building your way up slowly as landing is the hard part. I would just build your way up with tinny little breaches and then more and more and soon you will be jumping. Speed is your friend to get good air. Its more like a ollie on a skate board same body motion.
Hello Damien, how do you stay flying when lying on the board ? While lying on the board, I only can fly about 20m, then I touch the water again, then the board flys again and so on. Or I get a wipeout when I turn the level too high. But how to keep the board in the same high when lying, that's my problem. I only can fly when standing on the board, but not when lying.
Hi Damien! I live in the UAE (Abu Dhabi) I'm ready to buy my lift board but I wanted some advice. It's summer here now and we hit Temps of 45° centigrade (113 F) for the next few months. Is it ok to ride the lift board in those Temps? On the other hand, if I order now I will receive my lift 3 in October and it will be getting slightly cooler then. Any advice would be appreciated. Cass, you should be able to ride in all conditions really hot or cold you name it. As long as there is water! Unfortunately there is a slight delay as demand, shipping, covid, among other things have made it hard this year. It is a beautiful product everyone falls in love with.

If you are looking for a little more performance the 4'9 would be possible same wing set up but will be harder to learn as it has less volume. The 5'4 is a great board. Just try to avoid it for sure. You can see quite far in front of the efoil, so it does not happen much. If you do hit something you usually go over the front and everything stops.
Rustin, I just have a random stick I made nothing special out of a carbon rod... You could use a wooden flag pole and it would help keep it floating. Mine will sink. :).

Hi Damien, have you tried the 4’4”? Any thoughts compared to the 5’0”? Were you on the 170 wing? Also wondering how these efoils would handle with a high aspect foil wing. I might bite the bullet and go for one this spring. Hope to meet up with the Ft Pierce crew for some wing foiling in a few weeks.
I own the 4'4 and love it! Its my goto with the 200 such a fun ride! The 170 is a great wing as well and yes that was what I was on in the video. I enjoy a little more speed at times. Yes the HA wings work really well and give you some glide and efficiency. I don't recommend them for new riders but avid riders will enjoy them. Hope to wing with you soon brother....

my dad could prolly make an electric hydrofoil using our old car battery which last 50 hours and a boat propeller that cost 10 dollars and he could just make the hydrofoil with only just 25 dollars and use my old car controller for the throttle and its would only cost 75 dollars including the board ofcourse

I would say there is a small chance but your efoil would be just fine. The efoils can take a big hit for sure and keep one going. Very strong
