    I have a lot of Ryobi tools, mostly 18v but my trimmer is 40v and never had an issue. i just got this power station today and an issue i have is the internal cooling fan is not coming on. i had it hooked up to a star finder type telescope stand and had the inverter light on. i operated the stand a bit and it worked fine, however the inverter internal cooling fan never came on and the inverter felt hot and smelled like overheated electronic. my question is shouldn't the fan run continuously or is it temperature controlled. i had it lying flat so the fan vents were exposed so that wasn't the issue. the fan is visible thru the vents and it wasn't running.

    based on your run time of 2 hours and the battery watt hour of 144W. The 2 devices only use 75-80w. you could have run that with the 18v inverter with a 9 amp and get the same results.

    Will a 4amp 40 volt battery in the 300 watt inverter have more run time than a 4amp 18v battery in the 150watt inverter using the same household item

    • @ManCaverTools
      @ManCaverTools  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I believe so. because the cells inside will share the load better and it will use less energy to do the task.

    I have the smaller inverter #150bg. The highest ah battery I have is a 4 ah battery. I got it For the price and now they came out with the larger inverter and usbc port. I do have a multi port usb. But really haven’t tested it out since I don’t have any usbc devices. Could I use that usb multi port that has the usbc port and charge my usb devices.

    Sorry but i went through 4 of these. They would die half way through a 6ah battery! The battery was brand new as was the inverter! It even died using the usb port...the color change feature was practically pointless as it wouls die before it got to 100%...like wtf ryobi
