    Thanks so much for sharing. Are these water resistant? Could I use the same blend to make planters?

    • @evenifcandlecompany

      You’re welcome! They are only water resistant if you use a sealant. And yes, I’m sure you could use it for planters. I know there are a lot of molds for planters out there. People use my vessels as planters, once candle is finished, as well. 👍🏻

    Clean up question...how do you clean out your tools?

    • @evenifcandlecompany

      I use isopropyl alcohol with shop paper towels. It’s a messy craft lol, so I do replace them after a good amount of use.

    Hello! So glad I found you..I love your content as you are so authentic! Keep it going. I do have a questions. I am using hydrostone and live in Canada. March Safe does not ship to Canada. Is there another sealer I could purchase from hardware store that is not flammable? Thanks! Ginny

      Hi Ginny! I appreciate that, so kind.
      I’m assuming you mean Earth Safe? If so, they ship all over the world. 👍🏻🌎

    What happens if I leave the vessel inside of the mold for ~3 days? So I'm 100% sure its super dry?

    • @evenifcandlecompany

      I’m wondering if you have had any issues with your vessels being wet? Just trying to see if there is another issue that’s going on. 👍🏻 I’m not sure why you would leave it in for a few days, because they actually don’t fully dry in the mold, also the expansion that occurs will cause issues for your molds. Let me know if I can help more 🙂

    How do you do to put the name of your company in the candle like engraved in the cement?

    • @evenifcandlecompany

      It’s on the mold itself! Custom molds are an option for some companies. I am changing the company I have used because the quality lacks. Or else I would recommend them. Canadian silicone molds does it and I’m considering switching to them.

    Hello!! Thank you for making this video it’s very informative!! May I ask what kind of cementall you use? Do I need a whiter color cement? Or the natural gray color of the cement will disappear once add pigment in? Thank you

    • @evenifcandlecompany

      Hello! I just use the cement all from Home Depot. It’s a grey color naturally. Once pigment is added, I have no issues with the grey tone.

      @@evenifcandlecompany thank you very much!! Im a newbie in making concrete jar for my candles so your channel is a life saver! May I ask if I need to seal the inside of the jar as well? As I don’t want the unsealed concrete to soak up my wax but also dont know if the sealer would mix up with the wax as I pour…

    • @evenifcandlecompany

      Glad my channel has helped you! I at least seal the inside of a jar due to the porous nature of concrete. The outside of a jar looks great sealed, too. But, that’s on top of already sealing interior. Make sure you are waiting a few days before pouring into your sealed vessels.

    Hi Brit, Which base did you use for the pigments, grey or white? This is all new to me. Your paper sheet, can you tape it to the table so it wont move? Thanks for your help!

    • @evenifcandlecompany

      Hey! I use grey base for pigments.
      I could tape it, but it would still crease and fold at times. So, let’s just say I’m no longer using that paper for this process 🤣

    I’m new to the art of concrete, so can you tell me the name of the cement you use, and you don’t have to put sand or another aggregate in with the cement? Your vessels turned out gorgeous, and I can hardly wait to make my own.

      One more question for ya …
      Why distilled water versus tap water?

    • @evenifcandlecompany

      You can use any water. Due to where I’m located, we have very hard water, which results in defects in the vessels, spots, etc. So, distilled water being filtered, helps with that. I also have an RO system, that I could use. You can try your tap out and see how they come out 👍🏻

    • @evenifcandlecompany

      I believe you asked this question in my other concrete vessel video. I don’t have much experience with that. Never been a problem for me. But one cause could be unfiltered/hard water. But, I’m unsure of your circumstances. Other resources I’m sure are out there to assist further

    • @evenifcandlecompany

      I’ve never had water float at the top before, so I’m not sure why that occurred. Maybe it’s due to you not using distilled water, or possibly using too much water and not mixing well enough.
