Gosh, what a stunning stencil Natasha! And it was so clever masking out that area and inking it white to make it look like vellum. Absolutely loved the card and the blue matting layer really pulled it together. Well done Natasha! 😊❤
Beautiful roses! The blue mat really makes that card. You could use this design for many other occasions. I keep thinking, wedding. It’s big, it’s sophisticated; as you would say, it’s gorgeous.
Great tip! Another way to use white ink, & save some vellum. Beautiful cards. I have some Gina K ink cubes. I need to get them out & give them some love. Gorgeous colors!!
such a beautiful card. I do not have layering stencils and will have to look into them. Thanks for the tip. I was thinking, "Oh no what is she doing" LOL of course I didn't have to worry, everything you do turns out beautiful
Hello Natasha. Great tips about layering stamps & not having enough ink colors as well as how to get the look of vellum when u don’t have any. I can always count on u for great tips & a incredible imagination 🥰💕😉
Natasha, what a creative idea!! Love your card!! I am a blue girl also!! I use my geli plate instead of grid mat!! It works just the same and it saves me money!!
Just such a creative idea to create the look and purpose of vellum with white ink! I can't wait to try this one. You always come up with the most amazing ideas Natasha!
Hi Natasha 🥰🙏🦘 That really is beautiful! Thanks for the ideas, hints & tips, reminders & thoughts! I have heaps of things to do this year, starting with a commission for four special Birthday Cards. Mmmm🤔...💡..🎖️
Good evening and happy new year Natasha, so glad I caught your upload early today. It is a very early night for me tonight; I will be producing z’s shortly. Lol. ❤❤
Genius! Even if you do have vellum, it gives a similar effect. I’m itching to go try this, but I have an appointment this morning…BUT!… I do have 2 birthdays coming up soon!
I can’t get the hang of blending brushes either, I try and try but no, I can’t get the results I want with them. But I’m haven’t given up, I’ll give it a few more try’s before I give up!
What an interesting technique! I never thought of using white ink to create an area for my sentiment - and for me, it does seem to be a problem area I often have to deal with. I am a little tired of using vellum all of the time, so I'm definitely going to give this a try! Beautiful card! Thanks Natasha!! 💕
This stencil set is beautiful, how did you line it up so easily for each stencil. I’m hoping to try my hand at layering stencils this year. Lovely card Natasha.
I'm curious. You usually use Simon Hurley inks I think it is and talk about how much you enjoy them and don't need other manufacturers inks and have no room for them. Now you have these new inks, what made you decide on new ones? Are you getting rid of your other ones?
I couldn't afford the grip mat but I got a dashboard mat, from amazon, which is for a mobile phone and use it for holding my ink pads securely. I also got a larger one for stencils etc. A fraction of the cost. They are usually black rather than transparent. I thought this may be suitable to mention on here as a money saver . Hope this is OK Natasha?
