    Hi Natasha! Wow, we're in the 3rd week of 2023 and ur still going super strong! Here in Cleveland, Ohio, USA I stumbled upon ur channel a few years ago and have been following u ever since; mainly because u are simply a huge breath of fresh air in what seems to be a dim world. I truly look forward to what ur videos bring each week and I am sincerely delighted that u seem to be successful at what u LOVE doing! Soooo, thank YOU! By the way, the last I seen, u were over 83,000 followers which clearly speaks volumes. May God's richest blessings be upon u and ur beautiful family. Until next time, blessed crafting! 🤍🙏🕊️

    Love that you made a coordinating envelope. I always feel compelled to do something to my envelope, even purchased ones, to make them coordinate with the handmade card. Often, it is a skinny strip or two of a couple different papers or card stocks, glued along the left side of the front of the envelope. Something else I enjoy doing is to run the flap of the envelope through an embossing folder. I try to use an embossing folder that coordinates with the card, or just use a neutral one, such as one that looks like the weave of fabric. TFS!

    • @allisonjames2923
      @allisonjames2923 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oo some great ideas there. Especially the embossed part. Would also be cool to emboss the front but leave a flat strip for the address 🤔 😁 I must remember these the next time I make a card. Thank you 😊

    • @carloshaun7297
      @carloshaun7297 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@allisonjames2923 so glad you like my ideas for sprucing up my envelopes. I just can’t seem to mail a “naked” envelope. Of course, it does add time to making cards. Sometimes I emboss the background card stock, or a piece I add to the card & then use that same embossing folder to emboss the envelope flap. For some reason, I prefer envelopes with a straight flap. Have fun! That’s what it’s all about! Plus, putting a smile on the recipient’s face, when they receive a handmade card that came from the heart!

    Thanks for your ideas! I have a small drawer full of these things, taken from card kits over the years-didn’t know what to do with them! Love your adorable card. I can now see that they can be colored, stained, painted, etc. and even used as stencils, ink sprayed through them. I’m sure you’ll have many more ideas with these, and I’m here to see what you come up with! You’re so inspirational!

    Your cards are..as usual... BEAUTIFUL!! Lots of creativity, very talented...Thank you so much for sharing all of your great ideas and tips. I also make my own envelopes and to close the flap of it, I use little round Velcro pieces that I buy in the sewing section at "Michaels" store. I cut each round in half and put 3 pieces on the flap, take off the plastic release backing off of each, close the flap and there you have it. I would post a picture of my envelope but I don't know how to do it...

    Good evening, Natasha!! Just found several of your card-making videos and saved them all so I have something to revisit time and time again in the future!! Regarding that 'light chipboard chevron outline', I was thinking that perhaps we could make several copies of it to be used on other cards, especially when items are no longer available to 're-purchase'!! Just an idea!! I also 'make copies' of things on my laser printer so that I can foil them again and again but using different colors and patterns of foils!! (I don't think I'm breaking any copyright laws because I am not 'selling' any of those cards!!) Many thanks for your lovely sing-song voice, too!!
