No it's in Bradford West Yorkshire. NEVER saw one before but the video clarified my confusion. I don't see the point of them in narrow side streets though
@@strawberryhalzy8386 Ah ok, they are probably a historical thing, like y-junctions. On new housing estates they don't normally add these unusual junctions, just make the roads narrow.
I have been told by my driving instructor that I can book my driving test. Would I be able to go to the test centre without my instructor to take my driving test as it would be cheaper ? Thanks
Yes you can. www.gov.uk/driving-test/using-your-own-car But try not to think of doing it for a cheap as possible, use which car you feel more comfortable in.
50.9092 -0.9732 (copy and paste coordinates into your choice of map). This looks like a D-junction near Romans castle, about 15 miles from the city of Portsmouth England.
Looking at those coordinates it looks more like a y-junction, which is the same idea as a d-junction, just slightly different shape. Y-junctions are reasonably common, where d-junctions are pretty rare.
I’ve just passed my driving test today first time. I’d just like to say these videos have been a huge help and made the test much easier so thank you.
Great news!
Make sure you keep watching as you never stop learning!

I came to this exact D junction in Maidstone earlier and thought it was a little roundabout 🤦🏼♀️
I suppose it does look a bit like a roundabout
well explained thank you
Thankyou! I got so confused when I came across one!
Pleased to hear my video helped!
Was the d-junction in Maidstone? They seem quite common there, not found in many other places.
