Most space marine chapters dont really like being told what to do by normal humans, especially inquisitors.

The last game ended with the Inquisition being like "Wow you singlehandedly solved this conflict... thats sus. Follow me." which I found so fascinating and dark that I skip directly to the second game. I thought it would be released in October 2023. So I'm about to literally wait for a year.

@@rakelodakel It's lore breaking, space marines resemble their Primarch. For example all Salamanders have jet black skin and red eyes like Vulkan and all Raven Guard have pale white skin and dark eyes like Corvus Corax.
On a surface level I suppose. Gears is about taking cover, Space Marine is more about getting up in the fight and being relentlessly brutal, similar to the old god of war games.
