Just got my ZR2 a month ago I found out BDS is just about the only lift out there I've used rough country for years they don't offer one for the ZR2 I'll have to give this one a try!!
I have a question how much clearance do you gain with the stock wheels from the ground to the lowest part in the center in the front and from the ground to the bottom of the rear diff.???
Hey Josh, overall this kit retains similar geometry to the factory setup to ensure handling characteristics, it relocates the axles farther away from the frame to provide additional tire clearance. Based on running the same size wheel/tire before and after the lift is installed you'll be about 1" of additional ground clearance up front and in the rear its a solid axle so no change in ground clearance. Your ground clearance gain will come from your ability to install larger tires up to 35".
Reach out to our tech department and ask if our fox coilover conversion for the standard colorado could be an option. for you. Thats a bummer breaking one of those DSSV's.
Ho much will a lift like this affect the MPG’s ? I have a bison diesel and wanting to put a lift on it but not if it’s going to cut my fuel mileage down.
We don't provide actual wheels however in the link here we provide the wheel/tire specs to shop for: bds-suspension.com/product?ma=5&mo=69&ty=115&yr=2017-2021
I love how nothing is mentioned about how much it rubs on the fenders everytime you turn with any type of compressed front suspension. Lmao.. doing just a bds lift and 35s.. nope.. more to it unless you wanna damage fenders and/or tires.
Oh let me add.. I just bought a 2017 ZR2 with the BDS lift kit and has 35 KO2s.. they rub/hit the fenders on the rear of the tire in the front every time I turn and go up a grade/hit a bump.
I did a truxx 2-inch level kit on my 2021 and 33s and had to do very little fender work on the rear plastic. I used a heat gun, and you can't tell I did anything, and my truck looks pretty similar to the one Showen unless you had them side by side, I don't think you would know the difference that it why I had asked them to give fender measurements, but they never replied. I can flex and turn mine and it never hits. what yr of zr2 do you have
@@preston_highwaycrawlers Oh I didn't see this one when I made my other comment can you give me fender height on the front in line with the center of the wheel. I have been curious to see how much difference there is .
This is torcher. I’ve been looking at doing this and you guys post about it. Maybe it’s a sign
We really like it, shop favorite!!
@@bdssuspension had it installed and got the truck back Wednesday! Absolutely love it so far!

I get 15 with gas truck. Went down 4
Lifting any truck and increasing rotational mass with always decrease mpg.
I just bought my lift kit for my 18 zr2 but I'm having trouble finding wheels is there a list that bds has that I can choose from?

Do you have anything coming out for the Silverado Zr2?
When our engineers are able to get one in the shop to do testing on; we will be able to see what options we could look into for the silverado ZR2.
