Great video comparison. I have a 2018 C class cabriolet with the AMG appearance package. It is most similar to the sports model but there are some differences. For example my speakers are silver And I have the diamond grill.

Secondly, what type of suspension does the base model come with? I saw u mentioned luxury model has comfort and sports model has sports tuned. But u did not mention about the base model. Thank you!
The only time the roof looks blacked out - is when you have a Panorama Sunroof. Otherwise the roof is body color. Base model has the same suspension as Sport model, but not AMG-tuned. The Sport model has improved AMG tuning, AMG braking system, AMG low profile wheels and AMG Calipers.
My 2016 was AMG styled. Is the 2017 18” AMG 5 Twin spoke sport line wheel package the same thing? This part get bit confusing. But I really loved my 2016. And I want to Replace it with similar or same.
It means you have a Base model, as far as body style (as I showed in the video). And as far as equipment, it doesn't have clock because your car probably doesn't have a Premium Package, which clock used to be part of.

Good work. Is it possible to transform from base model to sport? Just by changing the parts u have shown? Because the sport model looks wider and bigger when you look at the doors vs base model.
I had my front bumper tow hook covers taken, its hard to tell from the video but the sport package looks a different shape then the base model, am I correct? So I may need to be careful and get the correct replacements, is that a fair understanding?

@@nacolejeffris5019 From my understanding the luxury grill is sitting in a chrome casing. This chrome casing would need changed to a plastic/ fiber glass(whatever it's made of) sports grill but it would need to be painted to match the color of the car. Just look closely at the way the grill (top part) meshes into the car. It will make more sense then hopefully.
My 2016 c300 4matic sport has all the features except for the sport power steering. Is there any wrong about that? Because from this video, I’m starting to think maybe it’s a production fault from mercedes benz. Or how can a sport package have all the sport features except for the sport power steering. There was nothing wrong with Luxury package. Mercedes models used to have the grille and standing star on the hood for many decades, and when they came up with the new design with the flat hood and star inside the grille - a lot of people liked it because it looked like a new sporty and contemporary design vs. luxury classic design. And as a result the luxury model wasn't selling very much, so MBZ made a purely business decision to drop it due to the low demand. Also Luxury model has much softer suspension which doesn't give you the same tightness as Sport model, however a lot of people actually prefer comfort vs. performance.
One obvious place is any MB dealer... Or you can search on Ebay. Some people just remove the original wheels from new cars, while they are still brand new. And you can buy them for half the cost. Go to Ebay and use search term something like "19 amg multispoke black". There should be lot's of them.

If you have Luxury, your suspension is a little softer. 18" AMG's should be fine, but don't put anything bigger than 18" unless you tighten the suspension.

I feel they look the same in most every way. But do not see the AMG styling part on it. And can not tell if it has LED lights inside and if it does is it just the basic couple Colors or the ones that. An he purple also.
I'm not sure about your particular car, but sometimes people used to change the look of the front styling themselves. Are you the first owner of your car? What's your model?

This video isn't accurate, I have seen the night package with same wheels like the base model, and I don't know what package mine is but the sound system is burmester which is premium sound and I have also seen a night package with burmester as well
If you've seen the Night package with wheels from the base model, it means someone replaced the wheels. Night package requires AMG Sport package even until today. Burmester Sound has nothing to do with Sport package, as it's part of Premium package.

Yes, you can add a standing star by replacing the hood cap.

but AMG Package can be 3000€ more expensive.I bought a C200 Avantgarde with 184HP instead of C180 AMG Line with 156HP.

Never use Neutral position on automatic transmission. Only when towing.

Visually yes by changing wheels, bumpers etc. But to make a full transformation, you'd need to update the suspension and braking system.

It's also sport-tuned, but regular (non-AMG) parts.
Does the base model have keyless go on the driver door?
How many mm or inch is the sport version lower compared to the standard?
About 15 - 20 mm lower, but also it's less bouncy, gives greater control, but you do lose a bit of comfort.

2018 Mercedes C-Class will discontinue the LUXURY model... so if you like Luxury, get it while 2017 is still available...

4 Matic can be an option on any of the body styles including Base model.
What about the Headlights? Are they all same? Or some are LED, some halogen?
On all the 2017 and 2018 C-Class models, LED lights were optional. Starting from 2019, LED lights became standard.

No, all AMG's have flat bottoms, which is a big plus in my opinion.

Yes, it's possible. There are lots of companies selling various all different styles of Mercedes grilles, especially on Ebay. Just Google it.

The dashboard watches are standard on all models.
