  • Which makeup item do you want to see next?💗 If you're looking to shop for bronzing powder for your face, there are a few tips from color theory (color and light mathematics) and mood artistry that you can use to create the perfect look for your visual presence. The right bronzing powder can help to reflect your mood and highlight your best features, making you feel confident and beautiful in your own skin and body.
First, consider the atmosphere you want to create with your look. If you're going for a warm, summery vibe, you may want to choose a bronzer with a golden or orange undertone. For a more dramatic look, a deep brown or reddish-bronze shade may be the way to go.
Next, think about your skin tone and how it will interact with the bronzing powder. If you have fair skin, a lighter shade with a subtle shimmer can create a natural-looking glow. For medium or olive-toned skin, a warmer shade with a matte finish can add depth and dimension to your complexion. And if you have a darker skin tone, a rich, highly pigmented bronzer can create a beautiful contrast against your skin.
    A Few Tips:
    - If you use yellow toned foundation, opt for neutral powder toppers (even if you're warm) because it will lessen the "makeup" look intensity (the appearance of the makeup itself, vs your overall beauty)
    - ROSY toned beauties should also be able to benefit from very neutral (almost "boring" looking bronzers that are de-saturated (less colourful overall) because the rose in your skin will come alive when mixed with a duller shade of bronze - adding a natural dimension and pigment that will appear naturally occurring vs "made on" makeup
    - Brown skin will look stunning in deliberately deep orangey shades of bronzer - which will not look orange on the skin but work with the skin to color to add a deep vibrancy that is captivating
Leave comments/questions below and I will update the tips above for more shopping-support
Finally, focus on applying the bronzing powder to highlight your best features. Use a large, fluffy brush to apply the powder to the areas where the sun naturally hits your face, such as the cheekbones, forehead, and nose. Blend well to create a seamless, natural-looking finish.
With these tips from color theory and artistry, you can shop for bronzing powder with confidence and create a visual presence that reflects your mood and highlights your best features.

This is the most informative video I have ever seen on brushes. Ladies usually tell which ones they like and the application process, but never the difference between synthetic or natural hair! Thank you for educating me!
Also, the education on bronzers is awesome!
Do a video like this on blush, eyeshadow, all of them!

I have been looking for a bronzer I’d love for AGES, literal years, and never liked one. This is the consumerism goal I want to achieve. I'm really new to the make up world and two months ago I bought quite a few products. I tried to choose wisely and really put thoughts into every bit. Now I understand that in my shopping spree there were more misses than hits. And it would be so much better to do it slower, playing with every product as much as I need to move one to the next one.
This approach of enjoying every bit of your purchase and buying only products that your complexion can really benefit from (this fact blew me away for some reason lol), is so good. I really needed this thought to be put into words by someone else to fully understand it! Thank you so much ❤️

I get you 💯 I have also an pale olive undertone like you and orange bronzer never looked good over Foundation, only by itself on natural day Make-up or in combination with other bronzers for a night out. So funny you bought Harmony!!! I used it years ago and I loved the look! But after time I always want to change my everyday look so I keep on playing with bronzers 🤪🤪🤪 I still have Harmony so I have to grab it and put it on right now hahaha but if I like it I would have to buy a new one mine is just too old ❤ love love love seeing you thinking the same way about colors, Makeup and also good looking packaging as it plays also for me a role how it looks in my makeup bag 😂 so get you 💯 and I am sooo happy finally hearing someone who thinks like me 💖

I was thinking of getting a new bronzer and most of the time I let the beauty influencers convince me of what to get and most of the time I’m disappointed because the product doesn’t look as nice. I have lot of bronzers, most I should throw away because they’re old, but I have one that I’m going to test again thanks to this video. How can I know, for sure, what undertones I have? I think you have a video about this, I’ll look for it. Thanks again!!❤

i love using my blush as everything, like cheeks + lip tint + eyes!
however i have a really hard time finding my shade even after going thru a lot of colour theory. i have both green and blue veins, which seems to mean neutral tone. they say that neutral means you can wear any shade, but it just seems like everything looks "off" on me!

    • @halloumi420

You should do more tests like the paper test, gold vs silver jewelery etc. Then you can see which you are more dominant on or if you are Truly neutral

      @ellenvandijk5585 ปีที่แล้ว

I am a color analyst. If you are neutral it is best to choose a color that is neither to warm or to cool. So in the middle. Peachy rose is more on the neutral side (neutral warm), so is rosy beige( neutral cool). Stay away from orangy and cool pink tones

Hiiiii Miss Alexandra! My favorite face product is Essence Pure Nude highlighter. We have almost the same coloring (dark hair, brown eyes, berries+cream, Italian/olive undertones), and it’s the only highlighter I own! My shade is Be My Highlight, and I absolutely love it.
My favorite mascara is a combo of Wet n’ Wild Mega Length, with Maybelline Lash Stiletto as the second coat. It’s just perfect, although I’ll use Lash Stiletto by itself, too.
NYX Butter Gloss rocks my world! I have it in 7 or 8 shades!
Skin care: I’ve been using Pur-Adore rose oil, Body Shop’s Vitamin C Instant smoother, and Cera Vie (all 3 giving each a minute to sink in), and my skin has never looked better.

I've only ever used mascara because I just don't know how to do makeup, and I'm scared to try most of the time. You inspire me to want to learn more though, and I'd love a video on eyeshadow or lip color!

You can always try experimenting with makeup on your free time, it's okay if it doesn't come good right away, it can take time. Good luck:)

@@AlexandrasGirlyTalk Yes, please! I am so lost. There are so many products and stuff, it is overwhelming. I am 19 and have never actually used makeup myself, but it is something that excites me I just do not know where to even begin and I do not really have anyone to ask for advice on this
