Taylor Heinicke is very smart, very logical (doesn’t let emotions cloud his judgement), and he almost always makes the intelligent/right decision on the field. Also, he’s pretty accurate AND *he can run* . But he only runs as a last resort or when it’s the smartest option… he doesn’t run just to run. He makes the smart decision.

Finished as the number 2 defense in the league and They gave Tampa the best fight out of Tampa's playoff run. That team is very young and inexperienced, it makes sense they would start slow again this year. Yeah they have underachieved but this was a statement win. That performance, all around is hard to deny. They beat the Bucs up and down that field, the final doesnt tell the tale.

The Rodgers thing is false 100%.Brady doesn't choke in the playoffs like Rodgers does. Mahomes is still young and his story got a lot of time to be written but Rodgers is a serial playoff choker as an individual. Got more Turnovers than TDs in his NFC Championship games and got a 1-4 record. Thats on him. His win was 12 yrs ago to the Bears of Caleb Haney where he threw 0 TDs to 2 ints and got outplayed by Haney. The Rodgers chokes are like you saw Baker yesterday vs the Patriots but with some more padded garbage time stats to look better and finish it 21-45 instead of 7-45. Still the same type of blowout and Rodgers choke but the garbage time stats make it look better. Like Big Ben vs Browns last year at Cleveland in a 38-47 loss. That was a Ben choke with padded stats in garbage time and not a Big Ben great effort cancelled by his own defense.
Thats what Rodgers does in playoffs. Looking at the total stats and Pts - you think defenses let him down but its the opposite. He lets them down and puts them in disadvantage. Every single year. The only year his defense let him down in playoffs was in 2009 vs Cardinals. He choked on all the other games. Mahomes still young to call him a playoff legend or choker. Got to see more even though he lowkey been trash in 2 Superbowls he played in. The other games he has been great.

I get the Tampa Offense hasn’t been firing like they usually do the last couple games but say stuff like Siemian and Heinicke beat Tom Brady is an indictment of the Tampa Defense not offense. Tampa has been scoring all year. Just literally 2 games under 20 points and the worst being at Patriots in bad weather. The offense hasn’t been that good last two games, yes. But average QBs like Siemian and Heinicke putting up 29+ points speaks more about the Tampa defense.

He had 1 bad throw and like 5 or 6 drops. 1 of those throws gio Bernard dropped in the red zone, Godwin dropped the low ball that Brady threw that almost resulted in a 3rd pick,kicker misses an extra point, he brought them within 4 with 10 min left and didn’t get the ball back till it was 30 seconds left in the game.

This is not possible. Quarterbacks don’t play in a sport where they can even realistically receive 30% of a team’s win share. So receiving 90% of the blame is illogical. However just like they get the highest praise in wins they should receive the inverse in losses. QBs are far too dependent on other players to even receive that much credit or blame, it’s not basketball or soccer.

Finally someone with some sense. The QB can't do jack without the O-line, RBs, WRs and TEs, and of course the OC calling the plays, and that's just *offense* . The QB has jack to do with defense and special teams which are criminally underrated phases of football.
But when people argue that Tom isn’t the goat QB all that gets brought up is 7 rings as if Tom gets 100% for every ring he won and lesser QBs with better numbers on worse teams get blamed and “choke”. Obviously football is a team sport but it gets brought up all the time that Tom just wills his team to win even when in SBs- for instance the Rams: he only has to score 4 points to win

He also threw three INTs in last year's NFCC and if the defense hadn't prevented GB from capitalizing on those, Tampa Bay would have gotten destroyed but no one seems to mention that.
