The way you capture and share the beauty and diversity of different cultures and destinations is commendable. Your work not only entertains but also educates and inspires a deep appreciation for our world.
Padder culture is something that has never been shown to the world outside in recent times. And you are making it really interesting by covering all the nuances of the culture. House making , Chang making ,Barkarwal vs Gaddi . Absolute gem this series' is turning into.
Dear Sir Thank you so much for covering the Nomad Bakarwals of Jammu Kashmir and also the local communities of these Beautiful areas of Jammu Province... ❤🙏 Not only the mountains are so serene but the culture and life of the communities living in these regions are so beautiful and simple and in a complete Harmony with Nature without greed... My Regards🙏
You are welcome.. the Bakarwals were the most interesting aspect of this valley for me. I hope to spend more time with them during my next visit in August.
I just watched your video. Himalyan Tribes are so rich in their diverse culture and traditions. They are still working to restore our beautiful Nature. We as a tourist need to contribute to this beautiful nature. Especially people who boast of going for peace and litter there during camping etc.and so on. Amazing video. Thanx Saravana kumar for raising the curtain and showing our country's hidden remote beauty and the hardships of these people.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Hats off to your patience that you manage to do all this single handedly. The details in your documentaries presented shows the amount of curiosity inside you to learn their lifestyle, as well. Hope that doesn’t get overlooked.
As a native Paddari, I really admire your efforts to show these hidden Himalayan valleys. Your videos are very sophisticated and tender. Loved these ❤😊
@@abhishakemehta Lmfao, U believe what people say? Indian govt also wanted to add Bihar with J and K, will that make any sense? Jammu is like mainland Indian, nothing special a place that reaches the temperature above 45°C, And Paddar is in Himalayas. It doesn't have anything to do with Jammu.
Man I started watching your videos few years ago and have to say your videos are superior to any other creator including discoveries and National Geographic’s. I don’t have words to express as to how thankful I am that you make these videos. Your videos are the reason I started watching TH-cam. Keep up the good work and good things will happen. Good luck 👍
beautiful. you have come up with an amazing documentary on these simple people living in the pure lap of nature. having grown up in jammu, i found the music like a call from my motherland. thx.
This video reminded me, Mother Earth has provided everything we as humans would ever need to sustain and flourish. The community living in villages is inspiring.
this culture is like our Kinnaur, but our Kinnaur has not fully developed but the connectivity of roads and other facilities are opened by govt, this video reminded me of our old-time but some cultures are interrelated food was the same, and home design was also the same I loved this video.
you showed the regions no one could've known existed... hats off man!!.. by the way did u by any chance visited the lower himalyan regions like..Mountain villages of Udhampur, Doda, Ramban regions?? and if you haven't i would love to make you videos about those remotest villages of Jammu region... which no one talks about... you can visit Saraz region, Pogal, Dudu-Basantgarh, Budhal etc.. villages too...
Thank you.. Yes, I would try to visit those places. But personally i prefer to visit places in the high himalayas for the weather and the views. I spent half my time in these villages and the other half would be hiking and camping. So for that i prefer the higher himalayas. Also im slightly worried about the security situation in the border areas to be honest. Especially since the last few weeks.
Wow, this video is incredibly well-made! The production quality is top-notch - from the crisp visuals to the clear audio, everything is on point. The content is both informative and engaging, keeping me hooked from start to finish. The background traditional music adds a wonderful touch and really enhances the overall atmosphere. It's evident that a lot of effort and attention to detail went into making this. Keep up the fantastic work; I can't wait to see what you upload next!
Your videos my dear sir, are a pleasure to watch. I have been watching them since COVID began or perhaps even a bit earlier. I love the way you travel off the beaten path, really rough it, independently at times and with local villagers at other times. Truly satisfying to watch. Love your no airs narration which captures so much details of the environs and the people. If you made a long form documentary video series I would gladly buy it. I have trekked many places in the Indian and Nepal Himalayas and travelled to Bhutan. This land is spell binding and calls out to me so often out of the chaos of Namma Bengaluru. But has been a while since I visited the Himalayas. Your videos take be there vicariously. Wishing you all the best. And so happy to see someone doing what they love. If you don’t mind, could you let me know the folk song in this video. It’s so beautiful to listen to.
Ohhh!!! I can feel the room,.... Talking, eating, drinking, sharing tales, making fun. ❤ The video is as amazing as the valley itself❤. The valley is so beautiful, I want to promote it but at the same time want to keep it hidden😂❤
Yeah, the people were all very lovely. I wish i had captured more of interactions during dinner, but I still have a block capturing closeups of people while they are eating. Anyway.. the valley won't be hidden for long. A road is being built to these places as we speak. And there are plans to extend into Zanskar in the future. So everything would change here in the next 5 years or so.
I must say you are good at cinematography. The way you frame you subjects within a wide angle shot, the way the vibrant colors pop out is brilliant. I think you are using a tripod for panning your shots. That's why they are so stable. Reminds me of old movies in which a shot was for at least 40-50 seconds, unlike now where in within 10 seconds they change angles with multiple cuts. It gives a headache. So, good work and thank you for bringing these videos to us.
Thank you so much. All credit for the colors go to the people and the valley itself. The place is so much more colorful than Zanskar which I used to frequent earlier. All shots are handheld either with the Lumix S5 or the Pocket 3. I used to be guilty of shooting short 10-15 second frames (that would be apparent in my earlier videos) but prefer to keep the camera rolling these days. Thanks for watching.
Another quality video with insight into local bakarwal community, their hardships and culture…..mesmerising shots and amazing story telling skills…..stay Healthy and blessed bro…..
Life shown and captured by you is moving. Thanks and more power to you in exploring the life in mountains. Government should watch your exploration. Big Fan Sir

We tasted that pancake you showed, in panikhar village of Kashmir.... They used to call it "khatti roti".... Last year we did a warwan valley trek and it ended in panikhar... As we were a small and unsupported group of trekkers,we got to experience their generous hospitality... Watching your video took me back to Kashmir.... For the rest of the evening I'm gonna scroll through my old pictures and reminisce about all those moments 😁 Amazing work... Keep it real as always... More power to you...💪🏼
It's simply amazing... Around 80km trek... And got to traverse two glaciers on the way... Its starts from panikhar in suru valley and ends in sukhnai village... There are 2-3 bakharwal camps on the way... Got to witness their truly nomadic life... Their experiences and stories are really inspiring and the same time makes you wonder, what an entirely different life they are living than us living in the same country...
No one has studied Ladakh, Zanskar & now Jammu better than you. Hats of to you.
