In the new game, his options after demon flip are: overhead slash, low slide, mid divekick, and empty hop. He lost his throw but can do just empty hop with it
Ive heard that empty Demon flip is done by holding down, but Tokido himself said that the new command grab during teleport does a LOT of damage

so really dying 1000 deaths just means getting jumped by 1000 Akuma’s
Or getting beat by 1 Akuma 1000 times
Both are definitely correct. There's no contradiction on either statements.
No just each punch is a death punch.
Akuma launch experience
Maybe he's just moving so fast that it looks like there's a thousand Akumas or they could be after images like clones. We're basically finally seeing what's happening during the flash attack of the Shun Goku Satsu that's previously unseen in previous games that Akuma uses it in.
I mean I head canon he just looks that way cuz of the 500 years him and Asura where frozen after their battle.

Could very well be, but his hair was also turning white in 3rd strike as well!
I don't think turning white it's tied to the Satsui, Evil Ryu retains his hair color, could be him just aging... 3rd Strike had Akuma with that white streak in his hair, hinting the passing of time
This is the case, Shin Akuma has white hair and his gi darkens into a dark purple color and his ki is even more present and redder and his eyes are brighter showing the important energy of satui no hado in Gôki or he is on the verge of being corrupted and of course you know his final form which makes him a real demon god. . .
ONI or he voluntarily lets the satsui no hado consume him and unleashes his power and transforms into ONI. . .
When will we see the full power of Gôki when will he reach the SHIN ONI form of perfect mastery without it consuming him. . .
Absolutely correct Shin means Demon. In this form he's perfected and accepted his path as a demon, a master of Satsui no hado in its purest form!
He is no longer Akuma.
He's Shin Oni
Enma does not judge whether you go to heaven or hell, he judge whether you should take punishment in hell or reincarnate into other things.
Ok I have an insane theory so hear me out, akuma has a new move that resembles his move in tekken 7, outside of that he also keep his strings from tekken 7 that were not in SFV while having his haircut from sf3(happens after sfv), due to how the time line works in street fighter we can conclude that tekken 7 was between sf3 and sf6

Akuma's theme about heaven despite being demonic is always interesting. He looks more like his Shin form.

@@jaeaik Power of Nothingness/Chikara no hadou is possibly based on Mushin no shin (mind without mind), just like Ultra Instinct is based on.
Bro's is one of the best definitions of on demon time 24/7 but lore wise he's low key chaotic natural 💀 will only really run those hands with you if he finds you worth and lore wise only like 5 or 4 people I can see him like yp rematch or yo first time? Run those hands

Just want to point out that the kanji on Akuma's back is different when he's Shin Akuma. So in my opinion this is just an older Akuma.
