    Love your review style where you actually show where the stickers should go! I know it’s on the instructions but seeing someone point to the actual figure definitely helps. Would you recommend putting the stickers on before or after you finish building the figure? Don’t want to mess up since he’s actually going to be my first figure XD

      Thank you so much!
      It's easier to build the kit first and then have the bits separate - like the limbs, the head and the torso - while you put on the stickers. If you're a bit anxious about it, try less visible parts like the stickers for the feet, till you get the hang of it -- or cut a strip from the sticker sheet like I did in the video and get a feel for the rather stubborn adhesive:) feel free to ask if there's anything else that comes up

    God, those stickers are gonna be a challenge. Though I WILL use them and cut out the flame parts and use the dark purple ones as a mask for the red I will paint on.
    Thanks for being the first to review this guy, in my eyes anyway. I've been looking forward to this guy ever since his promo images first came out. Now I know what to expect. And it IS a cool kit. I just . . . really gotta bust out that extra effort when I airbrush this guy.

    • @HobbyClubhouse
      @HobbyClubhouse  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      And already a hero like you steps up to the plate! One good thing about those stickers is that they stick on really really well. You might want to pick up another one and take the throwing star to make a compete one without hollow spaces:) (and maybe have a permeant fox)

    • @REmasteredSEED911

      @@HobbyClubhouse Actually, I MIGHT just use the stickers as a template since I have a roll of Tamiya masking tape around.
      Its just gonna be a pain cutting out the red segments . . . And my hobby knife requires a replacement badly.
      Actually, your idea may just work. I can just customize the other one in my own custom scheme that I've been wanting to try out for years. Thanks!

    I can only hope new SD kit will be more like this guy. Older SDs usually have some fun gimmicks to play around with but these new 3 kingdoms and World Heroes seem to focus too much on surface details.
    Nice review as always BTW.

    i think they couldve made the shuriken thinner (and eliminate the hollow space in the process). the stickers look surprisingly well and the dark purple on the sticker dont stand out too much on the purple plastic

    • @HobbyClubhouse
      @HobbyClubhouse  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The hollow space on that is quite annoying to fill in too with the complex geometry. Probably easiest to buy a second kit and sandwich two of the shuriken together. If they make Saizo, he would have five of them at once...

    Sasuke is definitely one of few that look good without the need to be paint

  • @theredrock5783
    @theredrock5783 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Ngl these SDW kits are probably also marketed to Miniature painters if we think about or atleast when I think of it, many details, sd stature mostly static ( I mean let's be real osme of these kitsbreally just look good standing)
    Idk just a thought great eeview btwbthat art ok Sasuke's box honestly make him look pretty handsome

    • @HobbyClubhouse
      @HobbyClubhouse  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I also think Sasuke's boxart is one of the best in the line so far.
      Miniature painting skills actually go really well with SD kits because SD kits need that same sort of finesse with hand painting and direct painting without masking or spraying. SD kits are marketed towards younger fans, but for builders, they're actually really tough to get right

  • @Ceonbe
    @Ceonbe 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Sheeesh that's really cool, can't wait until mine come! My nobunaga epyon will finally have a friend 🤣
    Also I'm glad that my first kit is a SDSS so lots of stiker is not really a problem for me since I'm used to it

  • @annnguyen9512
    @annnguyen9512 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    1. I was actually super excited for this kit but I didn't know the date that it comes out but now I realize that it's releasing tomorrow for me!!!
    2. I was also scared of the stickers on this kit because of all the detail but it seems doable to do half stickers half painting.
    3. I'm the teacher's pet 😅

    • @HobbyClubhouse
      @HobbyClubhouse  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Cutting out the red parts to stick on wouldn't be super hard, they don't wrap around things too much. Even doing all the stickers as-is looks quite acceptable.
      For 3, I think you and Sasuke will see eye-to-eye then. Poor guy made the lives of everyone else in the SDGWH line much harder now:)

  • @ookamiakatsuki
    @ookamiakatsuki 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    what if the reason the flames aren’t molded on the shoulders is because bandai plans on reusing parts to make a saizo kit? idk that feels like the only reasonable explanation on why there’s no molding for it to me

    • @HobbyClubhouse
      @HobbyClubhouse  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I bet they're at least thinking about making Saizo, though I imagine his coloring will involve more troublesome stickers, but yeah, I agree that's probably one big reason they didn't want to mark those parts with panel lines

    Hi, love your review! Anw what is the name of that transparent stand? And where can i buy that?

    • @HobbyClubhouse
      @HobbyClubhouse  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Belated replay, but the stand is Bandai's Action Base 1 which they don't reprint as often as the Action Base 4 and 5 now, but you can still find them from any store with Gunpla from time to time

    • @HobbyClubhouse
      @HobbyClubhouse  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Unfortunately not, the joints are the ones from Sangokuden Soketsuden, so they can't easily be replaced with the CS frame unfortunately

    But sir can i ask something, i want to know about the gray color on the parts, if i search the paint, what specific color is that, I mean like xf-56 or metal grey, or chrome silver. Pls help me, I don't know the grey color is

    • @HobbyClubhouse
      @HobbyClubhouse  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The grey seems closest to just regular Neutral Grey (XF-53 since you listed Tamiya colors), definitely not lighter than that, so even if it's slightly darker, it'd be easy to adjust Neutral Grey to match it. There aren't metallic colors or silver parts on Sasuke, though certainly worth adding some to him:)
