Can you program the buttons to actual IR codes like for the color buttons on another remote?
Why assign a button that's *on* the remote to *find* the remote? If you can press the button I'm pretty sure you can find it
Is there any way to change input on the soundbar as my fire tv is to pass through the soundbar?

I just got one and why does one of my 4 favorites have a peacock button and directv button. I rather have D+ and Hulu button bc I have those
The only feature I like is the back lighted buttons. But I'm not going to pay $40 for a remote that should have already been included in my firestick max or the cube which I won't pay that amount they charge for either.
I totally get it. as with all things amazon, I expect it to go under $15 within 1 year and to be included with the Max/Cube/higher end Amazon brand TVs. The Halo View is now $19 and I bought it day 1 for about $60.
I wish it had a headphone jack like Roku remote.
Me too! Amazon is counting on bluetooth earbuds being the norm.
That’s still not good enough, they’re assuming everyone has the echo dot to go along with the Firestick most people I know don’t.
The Amazon voice remote pro is good, but not as good as the Roku Voice remote pro. The Roku Streaming Stick 4k plus beats the fire stick 4k Max which I also have.
Is there a way to use shortcuts buttons to change from hdmi (fire tv) to live tv?
I just checked. If you watch live TV on the fire tv, yes... If you want to change input to another input like live TV on a cable box, you would have to change inputs.

sideloaded APK´s did´nt run with 1 and 2 Button.....sick

I got it so I can program TH-cam and Discovery Plus. Also what are you putting on you fire device that you can't get from the app store? I think the Roku voice remote pro that comes with the Roku Ultra and Roku streaming stick 4k plus is a better remote plus Roku doesn't bombard you with ads.

What? Assign a button to "find my remote"?
If you are pressing the assigned button to "find my remote" your remote is in your hand.

Hi! You can program almost any alexa command. find my remote skill was imo the best way to show it rather than something basic like what's the weather.
I still can't find a way of setting alexa routines on the buttons OR customise a voice command on them either. Anyone manage it?
Hi! Did you long press the button on the remote? It should open a menu automatically. I show you at 3:14 in the video.
@@TheFrenchGlow yep, i get plenty of options to run apps and things but no-where to select your own voice controlled phrase or alexa routines. I want to be able to press a button and turn all the lights in my lounge to a certain scene etc.
