Outstanding job sir! This exactly how I've envisioned my build to be... Several ideas from different builds to create the best one. I might be picking your brain in the future once I have all the components gathered up. Great build and thanks for sharing.
Glad the tarp motor method worked for you! Looks good! If the welded studs ever strip or come loose, consider rivet nuts, little easier and no welding. Also, the eyelets on the bottom were so the straps don’t hang down when the tension comes off the strap. Not super important though.
Excellent - I have been researching these lifts, I think this style is gaining momentum to being the most popular. I wanted to somehow do a lift of two twins and still have a walking space down the middle. I decided to do folding off the wall twin beds to simplify even more. Cheers
Well done! I am hoping to do 1 similar but I hope to have the motor mounted to the ceiling on 1 side but use a similar design , I plan to use winch rope (not cable) and pulleys instead of rub rail/ guides. I have no idea if it will work because I have yet to see anyone do this design.
Right Ooown! Looks good. Bet it will be just fine! Saves a bunch of money too!

The rub rales work fine, no issues since installation. I wanted to keep things extremely simple.
Nice job all I did was buy a folding bed.
I had to make mine wife approved.
Can you send a link to the tarp motor for 60 all I can find are 130 and up
Here is the one I bought, but this vendor is sold out. Try and find one with the same specs. Ebay item www.ebay.com/itm/163370508598
Did you use a solenoid?
no solenoid, but I did use a 12 volt relay.
