While I understand why Black might want to return to being a Supreme Kai, I kinda see him embracing his new saiyan body and betraying Zamasu as a rejection of that path. Plus, he'd probably have a lot of fun as a destroyer god. If Whis is still around, he'd also probably appreciate a G.o.D that takes the job seriously and wants to get stronger. Maybe a universe 6 vs 7 tournament could kick off once Champa learns someone took his brother's old job. Although there are very few remaining powerful fighters in the future timeline. I don't disagree, but I really don't think it would be able to happen since the death ball hit him before it even touched the planet. If this were to happen, one of two things would have to happen, either the destruction never occurs, or Bardock doesn't return to Planet Vegeta when Frieza tells them to. Either would contradict the what if since it says what if he survives the destruction.
I think it would have been cooler to see black achieve Kaioken, and go further then Goku could either because he was a god or because SSJ Rosé works differently
Rose is just super saiyan blue...but since Zamasu had his own god ki...and it wasn’t given to him...it allowed him to achieve a form equal to blue..pretty much rose is blue but changed colors
@@alephnull423 Rose is not just Super Saiyan. It's the true godly version of Blue - just what happens when someone with Natural God-Ki uses the form, as opposed to having gained God-Ki from a ritual. It's naturally stronger as we see from Black decimating so much, and it seems to have less strain on him overall too. Black uses normal Super Saiyan forms in the manga extensively, but he only does so against Goku and Vegeta when they first appear because his base form is already too strong for Trunks. There's nothing that is ever stated that implies Super Saiyan Rose as being Goku Black's version of normal SSJ; it's 100% his version of Blue.

I don't think Saiyan's instincts alone would make Goku Black turn good. They would probably be enough to betray Zamasu once Goku Black realizes that there would be no powerful opponents he could fight in his Utopia, but deep down he's still Zamasu in Goku's body, and as well all know Zamasu hates mortals with all his might. This makes me believe that even if he did switched sides and helped Goku and Vegeta seal Zamasu he wouldn't stick around for long and would travel the universe and live in solitude while training on his own. Also, technically wouldn't Goku Black be a Universe 10 fighter? Why would he join Universe 7 in the tournament of power when he belongs to Universe 10?
I understand that. I feel like he would be like how piccolo jr was, living far away in solitude, trying to figure out who he is and maybe, how to repent even more.

This is just speculation, but since Zamasu considered Goku’s body the perfect war machine. There would be no point in just letting Goku and Universe 7 die without knowing the heights he could reach. It _was_ Son Goku that helped Goku Black tap into decades of power with a simple sparring match, imagine what he could achieve with *_years of training?_* Goku Black may have unlocked his godly reserves, but Goku in canon has far surpassed that already. I generally dont think goku black can get ui that easily,as its a state that cant be earned by just watching. Goku was able to use it because whis had been teaching it to goku and vegeta as we saw in a flash back. While goku black should be able to get to it i doubt he should in that manner. I also dont think goku should be able to trigger it that easily after he saw black again but not as easy as black did.
Black is Zamasu, so he is already accustomed to God Ki. He can control it well enough to make a ki sword (in the present at that) otherwise his Rosé would just be blue/purple instead of the pink that it is. Goku shouldn't attain it that easily, but Black should be more than capable with such perfect ki control

Highly doubt that Goku Black would get UI. His Rose form is literally a HAX, increasing his power fast when he fights stronger opponents + as you stated earlier, Vegeta and Goku wouldn't want to fall behind Goku Black's power. So, Toppo would still get his G.O.D form and Vegeta would get SSBE. Golden Frieza would get eliminated by G.O.D Toppo (personally I'd like to see Friezaw get his ass handed to him) and Gohan would get eliminated (together with Dypso). Goku SSBK, Goku Black in SSR, Vegeta SSBE and Android 17 are still in fighting Jiren, but Vegeta still gets eliminated. Goku goes UI while Goku Black still tries holding off Jiren.. And then the entire fight proceeds as the anime put it (replacing Golden Frieza with Goku Black SSR).

Honestly we already sort of see Goku's body "Fighting Back" against Zamasu's influence, "Corrupting" him. Seemingly unlike Ginyu's Body-Change technique, which seemingly transfers *everything* into the target (thus why despite having a normal brain, the Frog in Ginyu's body is just a frog, and Ginyu-Frog despite having a Frog's brain can act like Ginyu), Zamasu got Monkey's Pawed. His lack of clarity of wording to Super Shenron seemingly only made it so his mind got transferred into Goku's body, maybe not even his soul. Remember, Potara's "compatibility" thing is dependent on the mental state of the fusees, thus why Goku and Vegeta are stated to have a massive boost due to being very close rivals. So even if it's Goku's Body and Soul distorted to fit the form of Zamasu's Mind, Potara only cares about the mind so it would produce Merged Zamasu even if Goku Black was Goku's Body and Soul molded to the form of Zamasu's mind versus Goku's Body hosting Zamasu's mind and Soul. This interpretation explains how Goku's "Body" can influence Zamasu/Goku Black but didn't influence Ginyu/Ginyu didn't experience similar scenarios with his body-changing (The body influencing him beyond "THIS IS SO POWERFUL!") Heck, the presence of Goku's Soul is likely a given because Zamasu knows Goku's Techniques after getting his power "unlocked" via fighting with Goku. The body shouldn't be able to remember things like how to do a Kamehameha or Instant Transmission, that is something that is learned, not inherent like Ultra Instinct, so the best candidate for it is the Soul of Goku resonating with the body and bequithing Zamsu's mind those techniques/Super Saiyan Rose. So Goku Black always had the risk to turn "Good" if left around for long-enough or getting too powerful, the combination of Goku's Residiual self in his soul and his body's instincts would slowly combine with Zamasu more and more as he unlocked more of Goku's power.

I feel back has the potential for omin or a rose varent of vegetas blue evelution but master ultra instinct requires a great mind set too. I say he can do omin becuase beerus can also use omin in the manga and roshi pure skill was similar in the manga as well, i feel back could adapt to match either of them.

While I agree with some of the choices, like having Goku Black betray Zamasu as well as joining the tournament, there are more that I don't agree with. First off, looking for the super dragon balls would be too much of a hassle for someone that, at the very least, doesn't care about mortals that don't benefit him. Secondly, I don't think he would willingly join Goku and Vegeta, since he's commited many heinous crimes that could warrant his destruction. Thirdly, Goku Black doesn't have the same mindset as Goku. He's shown that his saiyan body makes him impulsive, almost chaotic. This would make him incapable of accessing any form of Ultra Instinct. Even Sign would be out of reach. Fourthly, the inclusion of Trunks goes against the gods' rule of time travel, which is that it is strictly prohibited. And fifthly, the awakening of both Ultra Instinct forms was way, way, WAY too easy for both of them.

That would make king vegeta send goku to vampa instead of broly, bardock did care about goku so he might follow him to vampa but broly and paragus along with all the other sayins would die and it would just be boring for a while because frieza would eventually kill vegeta nappa and raditz. Alright, this story is way old but I think I should get my opinion out there. This story gets a 6/10 from me. The fact that Goku black only needs his Saiyan instincts to turn good makes no sense, considering the history of the previous saiyans he would likely become a mishmashed character with godly obsession and Saiyan tendencies. Two bads, don't make one good, he would likely go against Zamasu because he doesn't want to clear out all of the fighters in the universe that can fight him and considering that Beerus has a technique that can seal away people, as shown by him sealing Elder Kai into the Z Sword. He would eventually seal away Zamasu and go do what he wants. But for the sake of the story, let's just say that he did become good, he fixed Trunks' timeline and is going to go back to the past with the others. They become stronger as the tournament of power grows closer, especially Goku, because he literally has himself as a training partner. There becomes a power gap between Vegeta and the two Goku's while they are exactly the same in power to the decimal. Although, Goku is still the better fighter due to the fact that he has so much battle experience that makes the god's billions of years look like nothing. And now going into the tournament of power things would go as normal, Toppo would probably be defeated because of the improved team no Tien or Frieza and replaced by Trunks and Goku Black, Hit with his many retcons is now going to be defeated with ease by one of the Goku's. Let's just skip to Goku's Spirit Bomb, it gets pushed back as usual with a little more struggle on Jiren's side. And Goku absorbs the Spirit Bomb. But unlike last time this is a far different Spirit Bomb due to not only Goku being stronger, but the fighters in his universe as well, and with Goku Black there it isn't entirely out of the question that Vegeta would help as well due to peer pressure. But for canon lets just say he doesn't help. Goku is still several times stronger in this new Ultra Instinct Omen than he was when he transformed normally and has a larger time limit due to his improved control with Goku Black's help. This fight will go normally accept for Jiren being in a significantly less suppressed state. Goku suffering from the recoil of all of his used power, Goku Black will have to help and with their practically identical energy, Goku gets back to near full. And Goku will probably fight Kale and Caulifla accept being far stronger than before, his blue form will be able to keep up with Kefla much better than before but likely instead of going Ultra Instinct immediately, Goku Black thinks that he and Goku should fuse and well, destroy everyone. Let's just say that Kefla loses almost immediately, and now for the final battle, Fused Goku vs Jiren. Fused Goku has all of his time to fight Jiren, and will probably fight him quite equally until simply overpowering him. Even without the Kaioken technique, and let's just say that Fused Goku uses Super Saiyan Rose due to the fact that Zamasu wasn't a full Kaioshin yet, and still went Super Saiyan Rose anyways. Anyways, this is how I would've written it. Not just two Goku's non-fused going Ultra Instinct by simply closing their eyes and focusing. If it were that simple all of the gods and some mortals would already have far mastered the technique.
I feel like this Goku black would from here train to surpass Beerus and would try to take his role as G.O.D, then using the role to make changes in a different way from his original plan
You know what would be crazy, is if the mind of zamasu/the motive for the zero mortal plan, popped back in goku blacks mind seeing as the losers were being erased and getting what he first intended, but in a different way.
It'd have been nice to have a moment between Goku Black and Gowasu, and Black admitting to him that he was wrong about mortals, and Gowasu being happy that Zamasu managed to change.

Now you could argue that Goku brought the Zeno from the future to the Zeno of the past but my counterargument is that you cannot defeat Zeno i don’t even think Zeno could defeat himself so they just took the Zeno from the future in.

Black: Though my soul is from the 10th, I use the power of the 7th, so it is only natural I would fight alongside those of equal strength. Gowasu: So little confidence is your old home. Black: Indeed, no mortal from the 10th pushed me like Goku did. No mortal pushed me so far...Forgive me Gowasu, but this will be the second time I kill you... Gowasu: History is doomed to repeat itself it seems, but this time I sense no malicious intent. I still see you as my successor Zamasu, even after all that has been done. *erase*
I actually remember a plot line I thought up a while back with Goku Black becoming good. It involves an ultimately deus ex machine moment when, after Trunks defeats the Fused Zamasu, Zamasu’s immortality wish allows him to restore Goku Black’s body, causing the two of them to defuse. I know it’s off but I promise my old thoughts on this had a similar scenario that made sense mostly. Zamasu goes on about how they will have to begin the Zero-Mortal Plan anew, but something is different about Black. He heard Trunks’s speech and his Saiyan conscience took it far more to heart than his original counterpart. He remains silent for the moment, but Zamasu foolishly ignores him, saying they should use the time ring and destroy the past as well. Since Goku and the others recently used the time machine, Zamasu can use that link to go to the past. They arrive in a plain fairly distant from human life. Zamasu says they will destroy this world just as the future was destroyed, but Black has had enough. Rather than backstabbing Zamasu, his Saiyan cells urge him to challenge Zamasu, saying he is finally beginning to understand the lives of mortals and what makes them worth protecting. They fight, and Black obviously has the advantage, but Zamasu obviously still can’t be killed. Black hopes to grab the attention of the Goku, Vegeta, and possibly Trunks. As he fights, however, something is very clearly going wrong, he is getting weaker. He soon realizes his actions are causing him to lose his connection between his godly mind and Saiyan body. This is a reference to Hyronjutsu’s “[What-if] Goku Black VS Future Gohan” when, before unlocking SSJR, Black says “My godly kind and Saiyan body feel more connected than ever”. Suddenly his power plummets and he loses his Rosé form, and to make matters worse, his Godly mind becomes completely severed leaving him in a body he never _truly_ understood. Black remarks that he is actually happy, saying maybe, just maybe, he can eventually come to call this body his own. Zamasu immediately begins gaining the upper hand on the stumbling Goku Black, eventually knocking him to the ground, almost unable to move. All hope seems lost when suddenly Zamasu is kicked away by none other that Goku. Having read the situation, Goku gives Black a senzu bean he brought along. Goku’s sudden kindness comes as a shock to Goku Black, who was, beforehand, contemplating how he could possibly apologize to Trunks and the others. Goku tells Black that they have one last chance to seal Zamasu but that in order for it to work, Zamasu must be as injured as possible. Powering up to Blue, Goku rushes Zamasu head on, with Black recovering and tagging along. Though Zamasu clearly can’t keep up, Goku notes that they can’t injure him fast enough, and that their stamina is limited. He falls back and reverts to base. Raising his hands into the air, he tells Black to hold Zamasu off for as long as he can. Black knows nothing of the spirit bomb, but obliges. The fight begins as Black struggles to stay in the fight for as long as possible while still defending Goku. Still not fully used to his weaker body, he pushes himself harder than he realizes, causing his stamina to drop rapidly while fighting. It seems Zamasu is about to land a direct blast on Goku, who is wide open. It is then that Black’s desperation surfaces. The thought of failing the one chance he had to make things right, letting everyone die all over again is too much for him. Zamasu’s blast is launched high into the sky, and as the Smoke clears, Black emerges as a Super Saiyan. The spirit bomb is ready, Zamasu attempts to reach Goku, but is overpowered by an enraged Black. Goku launches the Spirit Bomb as Black seemingly vanishes. Zamasu boasts that no power of mortals is strong enough to destroy his immortal body. As Zamasu bears the full force of the Spirit Bomb, Goku transforms and fires the Evil Containment Wave directly through it. Zamasu is unable to move due to the power of the Spirit Bomb, as Black reappears below with the jar and the seal. Zamasu is sent screaming into the jar and is sealed permanently as the Spirit Bomb explodes. The dust eventually dissipates, Black is on his knees, battered and out of breath. He watches Goku shining high in the sky, wondering if he will ever be able to repay Goku, Vegeta, everyone on earth, and most importantly of all, Trunks and Mai. The curtains fall on the end of the beginning. This really was only the beginning, I had a few other plot points I wanted to stretch out, one detail I thought would be cool is if Black asked the others to call him Zamasu as a reminder to all the horrible things he has done. I haphazardly called it the “Promise Arc”, but ultimately I think it fits and sounds kind of cool. So yeah that’s my two cents.

I don't disagree, but I really don't think it would be able to happen since the death ball hit him before it even touched the planet. If this were to happen, one of two things would have to happen, either the destruction never occurs, or Bardock doesn't return to Planet Vegeta when Frieza tells them to. Either would contradict the what if since it says what if he survives the destruction.

It's naturally stronger as we see from Black decimating so much, and it seems to have less strain on him overall too.
Black uses normal Super Saiyan forms in the manga extensively, but he only does so against Goku and Vegeta when they first appear because his base form is already too strong for Trunks. There's nothing that is ever stated that implies Super Saiyan Rose as being Goku Black's version of normal SSJ; it's 100% his version of Blue.

I don't think Saiyan's instincts alone would make Goku Black turn good. They would probably be enough to betray Zamasu once Goku Black realizes that there would be no powerful opponents he could fight in his Utopia, but deep down he's still Zamasu in Goku's body, and as well all know Zamasu hates mortals with all his might. This makes me believe that even if he did switched sides and helped Goku and Vegeta seal Zamasu he wouldn't stick around for long and would travel the universe and live in solitude while training on his own. Also, technically wouldn't Goku Black be a Universe 10 fighter? Why would he join Universe 7 in the tournament of power when he belongs to Universe 10?

Black is Zamasu, so he is already accustomed to God Ki. He can control it well enough to make a ki sword (in the present at that) otherwise his Rosé would just be blue/purple instead of the pink that it is. Goku shouldn't attain it that easily, but Black should be more than capable with such perfect ki control

Highly doubt that Goku Black would get UI. His Rose form is literally a HAX, increasing his power fast when he fights stronger opponents + as you stated earlier, Vegeta and Goku wouldn't want to fall behind Goku Black's power.
So, Toppo would still get his G.O.D form and Vegeta would get SSBE.
Golden Frieza would get eliminated by G.O.D Toppo (personally I'd like to see Friezaw get his ass handed to him) and Gohan would get eliminated (together with Dypso). Goku SSBK, Goku Black in SSR, Vegeta SSBE and Android 17 are still in fighting Jiren, but Vegeta still gets eliminated. Goku goes UI while Goku Black still tries holding off Jiren.. And then the entire fight proceeds as the anime put it (replacing Golden Frieza with Goku Black SSR).

Honestly we already sort of see Goku's body "Fighting Back" against Zamasu's influence, "Corrupting" him.
Seemingly unlike Ginyu's Body-Change technique, which seemingly transfers *everything* into the target (thus why despite having a normal brain, the Frog in Ginyu's body is just a frog, and Ginyu-Frog despite having a Frog's brain can act like Ginyu), Zamasu got Monkey's Pawed.
His lack of clarity of wording to Super Shenron seemingly only made it so his mind got transferred into Goku's body, maybe not even his soul.
Remember, Potara's "compatibility" thing is dependent on the mental state of the fusees, thus why Goku and Vegeta are stated to have a massive boost due to being very close rivals. So even if it's Goku's Body and Soul distorted to fit the form of Zamasu's Mind, Potara only cares about the mind so it would produce Merged Zamasu even if Goku Black was Goku's Body and Soul molded to the form of Zamasu's mind versus Goku's Body hosting Zamasu's mind and Soul.
This interpretation explains how Goku's "Body" can influence Zamasu/Goku Black but didn't influence Ginyu/Ginyu didn't experience similar scenarios with his body-changing (The body influencing him beyond "THIS IS SO POWERFUL!")
Heck, the presence of Goku's Soul is likely a given because Zamasu knows Goku's Techniques after getting his power "unlocked" via fighting with Goku. The body shouldn't be able to remember things like how to do a Kamehameha or Instant Transmission, that is something that is learned, not inherent like Ultra Instinct, so the best candidate for it is the Soul of Goku resonating with the body and bequithing Zamsu's mind those techniques/Super Saiyan Rose.
So Goku Black always had the risk to turn "Good" if left around for long-enough or getting too powerful, the combination of Goku's Residiual self in his soul and his body's instincts would slowly combine with Zamasu more and more as he unlocked more of Goku's power.

While I agree with some of the choices, like having Goku Black betray Zamasu as well as joining the tournament, there are more that I don't agree with.
First off, looking for the super dragon balls would be too much of a hassle for someone that, at the very least, doesn't care about mortals that don't benefit him.
Secondly, I don't think he would willingly join Goku and Vegeta, since he's commited many heinous crimes that could warrant his destruction.
Thirdly, Goku Black doesn't have the same mindset as Goku. He's shown that his saiyan body makes him impulsive, almost chaotic. This would make him incapable of accessing any form of Ultra Instinct. Even Sign would be out of reach.
Fourthly, the inclusion of Trunks goes against the gods' rule of time travel, which is that it is strictly prohibited.
And fifthly, the awakening of both Ultra Instinct forms was way, way, WAY too easy for both of them.

Alright, this story is way old but I think I should get my opinion out there. This story gets a 6/10 from me. The fact that Goku black only needs his Saiyan instincts to turn good makes no sense, considering the history of the previous saiyans he would likely become a mishmashed character with godly obsession and Saiyan tendencies. Two bads, don't make one good, he would likely go against Zamasu because he doesn't want to clear out all of the fighters in the universe that can fight him and considering that Beerus has a technique that can seal away people, as shown by him sealing Elder Kai into the Z Sword. He would eventually seal away Zamasu and go do what he wants. But for the sake of the story, let's just say that he did become good, he fixed Trunks' timeline and is going to go back to the past with the others. They become stronger as the tournament of power grows closer, especially Goku, because he literally has himself as a training partner. There becomes a power gap between Vegeta and the two Goku's while they are exactly the same in power to the decimal. Although, Goku is still the better fighter due to the fact that he has so much battle experience that makes the god's billions of years look like nothing. And now going into the tournament of power things would go as normal, Toppo would probably be defeated because of the improved team no Tien or Frieza and replaced by Trunks and Goku Black, Hit with his many retcons is now going to be defeated with ease by one of the Goku's. Let's just skip to Goku's Spirit Bomb, it gets pushed back as usual with a little more struggle on Jiren's side. And Goku absorbs the Spirit Bomb. But unlike last time this is a far different Spirit Bomb due to not only Goku being stronger, but the fighters in his universe as well, and with Goku Black there it isn't entirely out of the question that Vegeta would help as well due to peer pressure. But for canon lets just say he doesn't help. Goku is still several times stronger in this new Ultra Instinct Omen than he was when he transformed normally and has a larger time limit due to his improved control with Goku Black's help. This fight will go normally accept for Jiren being in a significantly less suppressed state. Goku suffering from the recoil of all of his used power, Goku Black will have to help and with their practically identical energy, Goku gets back to near full. And Goku will probably fight Kale and Caulifla accept being far stronger than before, his blue form will be able to keep up with Kefla much better than before but likely instead of going Ultra Instinct immediately, Goku Black thinks that he and Goku should fuse and well, destroy everyone. Let's just say that Kefla loses almost immediately, and now for the final battle, Fused Goku vs Jiren. Fused Goku has all of his time to fight Jiren, and will probably fight him quite equally until simply overpowering him. Even without the Kaioken technique, and let's just say that Fused Goku uses Super Saiyan Rose due to the fact that Zamasu wasn't a full Kaioshin yet, and still went Super Saiyan Rose anyways. Anyways, this is how I would've written it. Not just two Goku's non-fused going Ultra Instinct by simply closing their eyes and focusing. If it were that simple all of the gods and some mortals would already have far mastered the technique.

You know what would be crazy, is if the mind of zamasu/the motive for the zero mortal plan, popped back in goku blacks mind seeing as the losers were being erased and getting what he first intended, but in a different way.
It'd have been nice to have a moment between Goku Black and Gowasu, and Black admitting to him that he was wrong about mortals, and Gowasu being happy that Zamasu managed to change.

EvilRey De la cruz Beyblade battles that would not matter if Goku would have lost the Tournament Zeno would erase him anyway. I’m pretty sure Zeno wouldn’t pick favorites. He was about to push Goku’s button when he took the spirit bomb’s explosion. Sooooo they’d get erased for doing a crime by bringing not one but 2 characters who’ve manipulated time many times. Now you could argue that Goku brought the Zeno from the future to the Zeno of the past but my counterargument is that you cannot defeat Zeno i don’t even think Zeno could defeat himself so they just took the Zeno from the future in.

Gowasu: H-Hello Zamasu. I'm surprised you chose to join the 7th Universe's team over your own.
Black: Though my soul is from the 10th, I use the power of the 7th, so it is only natural I would fight alongside those of equal strength.
Gowasu: So little confidence is your old home.
Black: Indeed, no mortal from the 10th pushed me like Goku did. No mortal pushed me so far...Forgive me Gowasu, but this will be the second time I kill you...
Gowasu: History is doomed to repeat itself it seems, but this time I sense no malicious intent. I still see you as my successor Zamasu, even after all that has been done.

I actually remember a plot line I thought up a while back with Goku Black becoming good. It involves an ultimately deus ex machine moment when, after Trunks defeats the Fused Zamasu, Zamasu’s immortality wish allows him to restore Goku Black’s body, causing the two of them to defuse. I know it’s off but I promise my old thoughts on this had a similar scenario that made sense mostly. Zamasu goes on about how they will have to begin the Zero-Mortal Plan anew, but something is different about Black. He heard Trunks’s speech and his Saiyan conscience took it far more to heart than his original counterpart. He remains silent for the moment, but Zamasu foolishly ignores him, saying they should use the time ring and destroy the past as well. Since Goku and the others recently used the time machine, Zamasu can use that link to go to the past. They arrive in a plain fairly distant from human life. Zamasu says they will destroy this world just as the future was destroyed, but Black has had enough. Rather than backstabbing Zamasu, his Saiyan cells urge him to challenge Zamasu, saying he is finally beginning to understand the lives of mortals and what makes them worth protecting. They fight, and Black obviously has the advantage, but Zamasu obviously still can’t be killed. Black hopes to grab the attention of the Goku, Vegeta, and possibly Trunks. As he fights, however, something is very clearly going wrong, he is getting weaker. He soon realizes his actions are causing him to lose his connection between his godly mind and Saiyan body. This is a reference to Hyronjutsu’s “[What-if] Goku Black VS Future Gohan” when, before unlocking SSJR, Black says “My godly kind and Saiyan body feel more connected than ever”. Suddenly his power plummets and he loses his Rosé form, and to make matters worse, his Godly mind becomes completely severed leaving him in a body he never _truly_ understood. Black remarks that he is actually happy, saying maybe, just maybe, he can eventually come to call this body his own. Zamasu immediately begins gaining the upper hand on the stumbling Goku Black, eventually knocking him to the ground, almost unable to move. All hope seems lost when suddenly Zamasu is kicked away by none other that Goku. Having read the situation, Goku gives Black a senzu bean he brought along. Goku’s sudden kindness comes as a shock to Goku Black, who was, beforehand, contemplating how he could possibly apologize to Trunks and the others. Goku tells Black that they have one last chance to seal Zamasu but that in order for it to work, Zamasu must be as injured as possible. Powering up to Blue, Goku rushes Zamasu head on, with Black recovering and tagging along. Though Zamasu clearly can’t keep up, Goku notes that they can’t injure him fast enough, and that their stamina is limited. He falls back and reverts to base. Raising his hands into the air, he tells Black to hold Zamasu off for as long as he can. Black knows nothing of the spirit bomb, but obliges. The fight begins as Black struggles to stay in the fight for as long as possible while still defending Goku. Still not fully used to his weaker body, he pushes himself harder than he realizes, causing his stamina to drop rapidly while fighting. It seems Zamasu is about to land a direct blast on Goku, who is wide open. It is then that Black’s desperation surfaces. The thought of failing the one chance he had to make things right, letting everyone die all over again is too much for him. Zamasu’s blast is launched high into the sky, and as the Smoke clears, Black emerges as a Super Saiyan. The spirit bomb is ready, Zamasu attempts to reach Goku, but is overpowered by an enraged Black. Goku launches the Spirit Bomb as Black seemingly vanishes. Zamasu boasts that no power of mortals is strong enough to destroy his immortal body. As Zamasu bears the full force of the Spirit Bomb, Goku transforms and fires the Evil Containment Wave directly through it. Zamasu is unable to move due to the power of the Spirit Bomb, as Black reappears below with the jar and the seal. Zamasu is sent screaming into the jar and is sealed permanently as the Spirit Bomb explodes. The dust eventually dissipates, Black is on his knees, battered and out of breath. He watches Goku shining high in the sky, wondering if he will ever be able to repay Goku, Vegeta, everyone on earth, and most importantly of all, Trunks and Mai. The curtains fall on the end of the beginning.
This really was only the beginning, I had a few other plot points I wanted to stretch out, one detail I thought would be cool is if Black asked the others to call him Zamasu as a reminder to all the horrible things he has done. I haphazardly called it the “Promise Arc”, but ultimately I think it fits and sounds kind of cool. So yeah that’s my two cents.
