You are right, I'm a Filipino and I agree with your opinion. Same in the Philippines which not everyone has the same perception towards Chinese people. Maybe it is safe to say that this is just their personal opinion and does not represent the majority of Chinese. Lots of Chinese people in the Philippines have no hate for Filipinos and live with respect to each other. Tbh their views on Filipinos are just the same as most Filipinos' views on Chinese people. It's very biased and probably influenced by their media. I saw so many Chinese who have been here that appreciate and love the country. Likewise, i also saw videos of Filipinos who went to China and loved the country. We just all need to be open-minded.

I am American living in the Philippines. This country Philippines is so amazingly beautiful, the weather is great. The people overall have great hearts, intelligent, funny people and filipinos are very good looking and attractive. Very nice family culture, open minded and want to be part of the world and explore. Awesome people and lovely country.
I personally think Filipinos are quite diverse looking. Some are tall, short, light skin and dark skin. Even eyes and noses too. Compared to some East Asian counties where people tend to look similar, I feel one Filipino looks different from another. It’s quite interesting actually and I love it.

The fact that Philippines have historical ties with China makes me sad about how citizens of both countries kind of hate each other. Colonialism really destroyed Asian relationships with each other. I hope we Fast East Asians unite again someday.

You know what? I'm Chinese blooded. And my grandfather flew to Philippines for vacation and decided not to leave this country because he found so much love with Filipinos. He married a Filipina. And he left his job and his wealth there at China even if it means that he'll start another life here in the Philippines without money. All he have that time are his friends and his wife. But he's so glad that he left everything in China and gained the love that he want here in the Philippines. We are all happy.

I'm Chinese. I can say most Chinese has no idea about Filipinos aside from domestic helpers (associated with financially not well), small country, political conflict. After I met many Filipinos in the US and HK, I can say that they are the most lovely human beings. They care about each other and lift each other up. Being with Filipinos are like being with family. When I'm the only Chinese in the group, they would all speak English for me (nosebleed); they invited me to parties and treated me as a friend even I was just a stranger. It's not that well developed in PH so I had some bad time with the traffic when I went there, but I still want to go back just because the love I feel there, most of them don't have a lot but they are willing to give even with not much and that is what I admire.

Hello! I have a Chinese blood. I just want you to know that not everyone sells bananas here 😊😂😘 Most Chinese-Filipino here are thriving. We are into businesses, politics and are professionals. Philippines has so much to offer and maybe that was the reason why my Chinese Grandfather together with his cousins and friends went to the Philippines. I am thankful for my Chinese Heritage but I really love to be a Filipino, aside from being able to speak Chinese, Tagalog, Spanish, and more than a hundred dialects, Philippines really is a beautiful country with wonderful beaches, ranches etc. ❤️ I hope my relatives from China will be able to visit us here for them to see our Filipino culture. ❤️

I remembered something in the tv news many year's ago, in the news there is a filipino man asking about his wife to a Chinese man but the filipino man gets angry to the Chinese guy because it couldn't talk proper English and the filipino guy thought that the Chinese guy talk some shit about him so the filipino guy shoot the Chinese man to death, but suddenly the local police did not found the shooter or even know he's name or address to be arrested. Just sharing you folks that racism is everywhere.
I’m a filipino and i used to work and lived in china for almost a decade. Not all of them are like these close minded people and im pretty sure this video interview was taken in some small cities of china. In fact theres tons of filipinos living in china but it seems that they don’t have any idea its just lucky for the interviewer that she interviewed the close minded people at the same time 🤣🤣🤣

I was kind of upset of Chinese people now, me as a Filipino who was always called out being too welcoming, nice people, and due to that I'm always trying my best to understand what's the differences and similarities of certain Race so that I'll be able to understand them more and somehow appreciate the culture etc. Yet after watching this I'm really upset and mad because it seems like I was the only one or only the Filipinos are the one who's trying to get along and understand these people knowing the fact that we don't mean anything terrible but to remain in peace and friendly of your country yes I know we have our fair share of bad comments about China but it's just that I felt so terribly wrong and degraded by your people as a Filipino. To be honest, when I clicked on this video, I thought they will say a lot of positive things about the Philippines. But as it turns out, they just said a lot of mean things about us.
I am an Indian and i knew Philippines from newspaper, i saw them winning world tittles like mrs World and universe. I just thought they are near America and are beautiful people.
Untill i turn 25 and travelled there. Its a beautiful country, lovely beaches. Although , i am not a fan of hot weather. But, i loved the food even though i am not 100% non vegetarian.
