      If it is any consolation: it wasn't just you mate. Lots of negative observations on the earlier versions on various forums. Some fixes too. No issues with this one. Just be aware of the poor HV isolation as others have pointed out.

    Distance between HV and LV side seems very close...

      I'd agree. I certainly wouldn't use this to switch voltages over 24V. I'm using it with a 12V car battery. The relay might claim to be rated at 10A 250V AC but I wouldn't tempt fate with that. Just because it can (if it can) then that doesn't mean you have to! Good safety point though. Thanks.

    Have seen these boards but personally I hate them, due to power requirements, HV isolation is shady.
    I prefer using NodeMCU + 4 Channel Relay Board running with Hi-Link 220V A.C. to 5v D.C. and that combination is a beast.
    I Have it running for almost 3 years now 24x7 to control Entire Room lights & fan here in India 🙏

      when i plug esp01 then relay on one second why it on one second without any command

    At which version did they correct (other than v4 as you mentioned) the need to do a jumper solder and take off R2? Thanks.

    when you plug usb into power bank then why relay on for one second my gpio pin connected 0 am facing same issue help me

      Is it the same model of relay board? Some pins have to be in a particular state for the ESP01 to start up correctly and you may have an relay pin connected to one of those.       I haven't experienced this issue with any of my relay units that I can remember. It seems to be linked to the need to set particular pins in particular ways at certain times i.e. at boot up. I suspect you are having the same issue as is being discussed on the ESP8266 community forum. They have a solution there that may be of value to you. Have a look at this and hopefully it will help you. It will need a bit of a 'fudge' with your circuit though. The community forum is filled with lots of people with a wide range of knowledge and perhaps someone else may be able to help you further.       It uses an AMS1117 3.3V regulator. These are rated at 4 - 12V (if it is a genuine chip).

      You need to do a check on Google! Header files are part of Arduino libraries, so it depends which library you want to use as to which header file you need. Try downloading the appropriate library again.

      There is no native app for this device. It is designed so that it hosts an esp8266 chip on an ESP01 board (the little black board in the picture). You can flash that with Tasmota which will respond to your Echo devices in an emulated mode, or you could use TasmoAdmin, or you can enable MQTT and use applications such as Node Red etc. to control it. There are other programs like ESPHome that you can use too. Thanks for your interest.
