How To [Lightweight Crank Pulley Install !] For The Hyundai Elantra - Non Stop Tuning (NST)

Hey Guys! Today we are going to be installing a custom machined lightweight pulley from Non Stop Tuning (NST). These guys were the only ones that could make and had data on the pulleys for the 5th Generation Hyundai Elantra. Though they did not have it readily available; I had to pay a custom machined premium for them; hopefully with this video, demand will go up and they will add it to their regular items for sale, thus reducing price.
The install uses various techniques to make sure it goes smoothly and certain tips are featured to make sure the nice aluminum pulley does not get damaged while installing. This a great way to help free up some engine power by reducing the rotational inertia at the crank. Per NST's warranty and quality requirements, we need to also install a new serpentine belt and crank bolt with the pulley, so we did so! Hope you guys enjoy~!

Hey Again Dylan! Ehh it's hard to say since I have not actually taken the car to a dynamometer yet, but I would say it made it a bit more peppy. :) Also rolling 1st to 40MPH is much faster; Full stop to get moving in 1st feels about the same. I mean with the fuel tuning I've been doing with the Apexi and the different intakes I've had now (Now permanently going to be the Apexi intake however) it's hard to keep a base to track against (Something I should have done early on, via dynamometer) but at least we have the engine specs and base car HP for this model to compare against, once I get the HP figures later on!
