NOTE: If your device starts crashing again after Stage 2, don't panic - this is normal on some devices. Simply power off the phone and then boot back into recovery, and continue onto Stage 3 and it should behave normally after that. Also when copying files to and from your device, make sure your files finish copying before you start flashing any files to avoid files becoming corrupted. When in doubt, just copy them over again.

Hi stephen. I have a redmi note 3 with a resurrection remix rom 6.0. Didn't update since then afraid of a bricked device with a new firmware. Some questions : it's a dirty flash ? I will looses my old SMS or whatsapp messages, photos after your method ? Can i use a newer version of LOS 14.1 ? Great video by the way !!!!!!
