Wow! Incredibly helpful and easy to follow. Way better than some other video that wanted me to install a whole SDK package and buried this simple thing in the middle of a 25 part How To series.

Thanks for the video sir. That was very informative with step-by-step details. It took me awhile to find you and most videos on the subject and other "Help-Videos" related to MSFS 2020 are glossing over the specifics so thank you for that. After watching though, my enthusiasm diminished; that's quite a time consuming process for just one POI and I was considering doing dozens in my part of the world. I going to look for 3rd party POI mods first and see what they offer. I just subscribed and will look at your other videos here. Thank you!

    Cheers Gibbo. Good stuff.
Question. Do we get any control over the FROM and TO drop downs? Currently we get a history of only 3 and 71 recommended places I’m not really interested in. I would like to see a history of say the last 15 places I’ve been to and maybe the rest being the most popular and newly added airports. It bugs me that I can’t see that place I went to last week for instance.

Hi Richard. The World Map still only shows a history of 3 locations in the drop-down, however, from the home screen go to Profile, then My Logbook - you'll see your full history there. Click on a journey on this list, and it will give you a "fly again" button, which when you click, brings those Departure & Arrival locations into the World Map for you. Hope this helps!

    Thank you for this tutorial!
IF I need to edit one of the POIs I have created, can I simply reopen the project, make the change, save the scenery, then build and package again?

Thanks Gibbo for another great video. I followed every step making notes along the way for next time. I managed to get a POI to show up in the Search list of POI's and the POI shows up on the map. However, no sign of the pointer when I fly around to test it. Any idea's ... been at it all night and losing the will to live! (LOL)

Waaw, great video, is it also possible to edit the file with a list of coordinates from something like Google maps? Is it also possible to give the POI's a ow name so you can select it without it showing all other waypoints like cities? I want to use it to practice a paragliding trip.

Use FStarter to add your own POIs and a lot of other things.

I'm finding this runs a little quickly and some of the options seem to have changed. Is there a link for this in a written style? Thanks

Any suggestions on what to do if you build and export to a new file, and that file is empty? no errors when i hit build and export.

This seems like a huge pain in the ass just to save some landmarks. I honestly cannot comprehend how Microsoft and Adobo built the most complex public flight simulator game in modern history, added their own POIs and landmarks, but somehow didn't think that "hey maybe the users might want to add their own POIs. It could have been as simple as going to the world map and placing a landmark and saving it. Instead they make you go into developer mode and do all this fancy stuff which is ridiculous. This tutorial is very straightforward and easily followed, thank you. But MS should have added this feature a long time ago.

Does the POI show up online so others can see it too?

What if it shows up as "not installed" and "waiting" in the Content Manager?
