I was about to say that. She is friends with some of my family members and she and her family are quite lovely. However, her and her husband founded a church a few years ago. Sadly she is a pastor there. She’s in rebellion to the Word of God

Out of all the gospel music artists, she is one of the very few they stand on biblical truth. That's saying a lot considering gospel singers are to be called out from the world to glorify God through sound doctrine while secular singers do exactly the opposite. Growing up, a lot of the church folk did not approve of Bebe and Cece Winans because their music did not mention Jesus and sounded more like love ballads. But Cece Winans did a 180 when she decided to go solo. I am so happy she made this decision. The remnant is small but we are so grateful for those that are bold and continue to stand on truth in a world that has grown hostile against it

My young adult kids & I have been seeking the Lord with prayer & fasting, committing EVERYTHING to Him, not just the upcoming year or certain things only and the thing He’s been emphasizing is pursuing His will and the fear of the Lord. He MUST be regarded as holy by those who draw near Him. We neither fear and consequently know Him when we think it’s ok to claim to represent Him when all we truly represent is the world and our uncrucified carnal desires. Matt.15:8-9 ‘These people draw near to Me with their mouth, and honor Me with their lips, but their HEART is far from Me, and IN VAIN THEY WORSHIP ME, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’ These people are far more concerned about being accepted by the world than they are bringing true glory to the Lord by living lives of holiness, obedience and righteousness. I love Cece ! She was the first Gospel singer I listened to when I got saved❣️I have listen to her on any platform and she have remained the same. She takes her relationship with God seriously. And all of what she said was on point. Now this thing with the Pastor or any Pastor it is a sad thing if you turn away from the truth. Because the word of God says ,you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.God’s Word goes out and does what it was sent out to do. We all are supposed to pray without ceasing especially for those that are in Leadership because they are not perfect. Remember with influence comes With Responsibility !

I'm so glad you posted this!! I love her voice, and now I know she is a real sister in Christ! She was spot on like you said. The Lord does not change! This whole thing where we just attract people basically to a building with music and not THE church is pointless. We are to lead people to Christ Jesus, not a club. If they don't know Jesus by now, I don't know if they ever will. God can harden a stubborn heart. They are about money. I am so glad to know that so many of you also feel some kind of way about all this foolishness. I wasn't even raised in the church, and I can see how wrong this is. Our righteousness and ANYTHING good in us comes from the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Thank you for defending the faith!
