Didn't Jesus started his ministry at or around 30yrs of age? When did he die? At 33? So what was He doing between the ages of 1 and 29? Ages 1 through 29 is what percentage of His life? You can not judge Pastor Bryant's entire message with this 1 minute of a clip. Now, why is Bishop Sapp a part of this? Because he didn't say anything publicly? Again, I say, this is not the full sermon and we don't know if Bishop Sapp had a conversation with Pastor Bryant offline. In my humble and respectable opinion, Bishop Wooden is too old to be addressing somebody in public without them being present. This is wonderful example of indecent and out of order.

I suggest that before anything, you repent of your sins and allow Jesus to save you. Then, read your Bible. And ask the Lord to guide your heart and mind, to allow you to receive His Word and to give you understanding of His Word. You clearly have no clue as to Who Jesus was and still is. Jesus was perfect then and He is perfect now! He was teaching in the temple at 12 years old. He was about His Father's business. There was not a second, not even a millisecond where Jesus "was out of order". He was there in the beginning with the Father!
And you also should be able to discern a false preacher/false teacher. The Holy Ghost would let you know and would line up if you had Him. You should also know better than to put your mouth on a true man of God, such as Bishop Wooden. Proverbs 27:5 tells us that open rebuke is better than secret love. 2 Timothy 3:16 tells us that ALL Scripture is given by inspiration (breathed) of God and is profitable for doctrine, for REPROOF, for CORRECTION, for INSTRUCTION in righteousness...Titus 2:15 tells us to REBUKE WITH ALL AUTHORITY. I truly hope you seek the Lord and let Him give you understanding. That way, you won't defend a heretic/false preacher/false teacher like Jamal Bryant.

I’ve often said a lot of these heretical preachers value their own intellect over the Word of God. It’s something God has allowed me to notice for decades now. You are absolutely right. Folks like Jamal try way too hard to come off as profound and as having some kind of insight to new revelation instead of letting the Holy Spirit take control by merely preaching what the Word says.

He was trying to come with a clever way of saying, I’m assuming, that Jesus Christ sole purpose was to give His life on the cross and everything thing else that He did was not in line with His purpose. Bishop Sapp is my Pastor & that was his inaugural service almost 5 yrs ago & Jamal hasn't been back since. These bloggers only show a snippet of something & run with it. My Bishop Sapp teach the Word, live it & I know this, he don't condone everything other so called Pastors say or do that's not of God or the Word bcuz he'll speak against it while he's preaching. I've seen the entire message and you should be glad that most have only seen a clip of Bishop Sapp just being seated. Because he later stands in encouragement of Jamaal Bryant as the sermon goes on in my opinion. Bishop Wooden is right, once there was no punchline and it was evident that he was serious about that blasphemous statement, he should've been sat down
Sadly enough he was correct….and i am sure that bishop knew that. Jesus was a child from 0-12 then from 12-18 we have no documentation of him doing anything other than living in Galilee =30 years, then the last three years of his life 30-33 are written in the Bible. 30/33=90% that we cant really document what he was doing. Knowledge is good but how we put it out there is life and death….there is power in that tongue😮

He couldn’t tell him to fix it because he was more concerned about following the protocol/order of the house instead of following the Word of God & being concerned about God accusing him of heresy.

I saw him in an interview with Monique (I believe it was her), afraid to take a biblical stand against SIN when asked a straight question about his views on a subject (I believe it was homosexuality). Him co-signing this nonsense is a clear indicator that he need to SIT DOWN!
3. Pastor Wooden was spot on! No pastor should allow this type of heretical teaching in their church...period! Pastor Wooden got it right!

The issue with Jamal Bryant and others like him is they believe they have the authority to say what they want to say and they end up with these hot take sermons. They are not looking to edify they are looking to get a reaction out of the audience. SO at the sake of sounding hertical like he said he will say anything because the goal is not to preach the gospel but to move a crowd of people. This is nothing new from Bryant tho. As far back as I can remember he's been a great orator but a horrible preacher of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

If Marvin Sapp said hey, I’ll address this in private with Jamal Bryan did you have left 85% of the congregants in confusion and they’ll have no knowledge of your back door corrective conversation we have no video of Jamal Bryant correcting that era the following week. so we know that Marvin Sapp had no impact of this spelling that lie. Unless this was Marvin Sapp’s church, and he addressed it the following week to his congregation. If that was the case, then it leaves the audience on television and TH-cam in the dark because we saw no follow up message from Marvin Sapp regarding correcting Jamal Bryant.

He was shaking his head in disbelief. Look at his face; he honestly can't believe what he's hearing from Bryant. Unfortunately, some pastors don't want to rebuke other pastors in front of the congregation; they speak to them privately.
These comments give me hope that the entire church is not lost! I'm so glad to see so many of my brothers and sisters in Christ who are standing up for the Bible and holiness! There is so much foolishness on the internet and Social media that disparages the deity of Christ that I had begun to lose hope, but seeing all of these comments has made me have renewed hope that there is yet a remnant.
Holiness is still the requirement to see The Lord!

I applaud Bishop for calling out this foolery, this isn’t the 1st time Bryant has made controversial remarks & in many cases he’s goes unchecked, Sapp should’ve corrected him.

By Marvin Sapp saying nothing (sitting there looking like a Catholic priest) with all that Catholic religious garb on, he agreed with Jamal Bryant, simple as that. Bishop Wooden hit it out the park. Really the best thing that could have happen, was for the Senior Pastor to get up and say thank you for my microphone - and from there set the record straight.

At 12 years old, wasn't he going about Hus Fathers business ???? His earthly father had no control over his ministry ❤
So from 0-12 he was not ministering and from 12-30 we have no documentation of what he did other than living in Galilee. These are called the lost years of Jesus life. This leaves the last three years of his life 30-33 in his call (15% of his life). My take on this would be “look at what he did with just 15% of his life….changed the universe!!!

And this is why the church is empty and the church stay having building funds with no building. So people assigned to the front of the church is now getting up in their pulpits and critiquing somebody else's sermon? Why? Did anybody hear Pastor Bryant's full sermon? Didn't Jesus started his ministry at or around 30yrs of age? When did he die? At 33? So what was He doing between the ages of 1 and 29? Ages 1 through 29 is what percentage of His life? You can not judge Pastor Bryant's entire message with this 1 minute of a clip. Now, why is Bishop Sapp a part of this? Because he didn't say anything publicly? Again, I say, this is not the full sermon and we don't know if Bishop Sapp had a conversation with Pastor Bryant offline. In my humble and respectable opinion, Bishop Wooden is too old to be addressing somebody in public without them being present. This is wonderful example of indecent and out of order.
It seems that this is The Season of Revelation for The Church. The wheat and the tares have been given time to grow together. Now, it seems, is the time for separation.

This is what happens when you have pastors who want to be approved by man and not God. They want to be the one who say something clever but not scriptural. This leads to heresy and not edifying the body of Christ!

Yes , they feel the need to say something new , in order to be relevant ! The Gospel of Jesus Christ is all the relevance needed ! SMH !

It's dangerous what he said because some will take it at face value and run with it even if he did try to clean it up. You don't want to cause confusion and have ppl run away from God or question Him. Marvin should of got up and pulled him to the side.
The Bishop is absolutely correct! John 3:38 says Jesus came down from heaven, not to do his own will but the will of him that sent him!
