Wow awesome vlog, Great seeing the four of you and Liverpool. The funniest thing seeing Shaun and Colin with the garlic buds, my mouth was watering as I am a garlic fanatic . Great one
Hi Fran & Rich you both look so rested and sounds like you had a wonderful time! I think it's so nice to see you guys with Colin & Shaun, you are such lovely couples! Thanks for showing us around Liverpool, loved seeing some of the sights...oh love the t-shirt Fran! 👍 The paddle boat was fun to watch...great fun to watch! 😊 Thank you so much for sharing, take really good care, stay safe! I am thoroughly enjoying your videos since I have discovered your channel. I am South African. My father was born in England. He was in the Raf during World War 2. My grandfather was a messenger on a bicycle in southern France duri g the First World War. My parents met when my father was stationed in Belfast. My parents came to South Africa a few years after the Second World War and never left South Africa. I have lived in England for 4 years in the late 1980's and so there many interests that I relate to in your videos.... like the 'old soul values'
Enjoyed it so much! 👍 weather! And all the places you filmed are gorgeous! I especially like the quaint footage of you having pizza with the foxes 🦊🥰. Tremendous adventure! That’s what life should be - fun and more fun!
Fantastic blog i am getting addicted to yours and the boys videos and you and the boys in the same place was good because we got the different seeds on the same place. Many thanks for sharing with us. Cant wait for the next
Fabulous video, a different view. Normie and I were in Liverpool 30 years ago...did the Beatles museum, bought the t-shirt....fun!! and you are right, Rich, it has changed a lot. Love seeing you four together...the fab four of the canals. lol. Love and hugs.
I had to stop watching for a bit--laughing so hard the tears were running down my face. The footage of Rich wobbling about on the paddle board--with the perfect musical accompaniment--was brilliant. And then tumbling in! I love that you can laugh at yourselves.
Hi Fran and Rich, lovely video again. Looks like you had a great time in Liverpool. Really enjoyed watching you travel back and the antics on the board, thank you.
So at approximately 1:59 you were talking about the Foxes then 10 seconds later you said something about doing the ferry today, ... well, I had to rewind and truly pay attention... I just about died laughing!! This is definitely one of my favorite vlogs.(along with the foxes , of course) So much entertainment, history and real life . Have a great weekend!!
What a fabulous trip! Great video - thanks for sharing! 2021 has certainly been a year of big events and change for you - a whole load of achievements! 😁
You guys made a beautiful honest and natural tribute to my home and reminded me i should have a tourist day or weekend! The Picton library is a must next time you visit. Thank you, new subscriber.
My Uncle Pat had his office in the Liver Building. My mother's family lived on the Wirral Peninsula. I have wonderful childhood memories of Liverpool from the 1950s and early 1960s. And I was at Exeter University at the same time as James Jones, who was Bishop of Liverpool for many years. Great trip across the Mersey - well done, both of you!
Wow wow what a beautiful city .I've always been put off from going to Liverpool with the bad press the media give it .I will definitely like to go now watching your fantastic video .
You won't regret it. Don't go in Dec Jan or Feb if you're keen on the waterfront aspect. It gets incredibly cold and blowy. But that time of year is fantastic there
Thanks for showing us some of Liverpool.. my parents were born in Liverpool, met and married there.. They used to go to the Cavan Club when they were dating and before the Beatles were famous.
Now I know how Foxes Afloat do the wide shots off the side of their boat! I had often wondered if it was a camera pole or a drone! I think that Ringo was harshly underestimated as a drummer. He could play the drums! All of The Beatles were good musicians. Another good video many thanks Fran and Rich.
Hi you! Just seen the Foxes vlog. Very interesting to see you both doing the same trip and the different approuches of the experience. Great vlog as always😀 Have a nice week 🌞
Just came over for a nosey after seeing you with the Foxes on the Mersey. I like what I see so you have another subscriber. Looking forward to joining you on the trips. Oh and checking out some of the back catalogue.
Found your channel a few weeks ago, loving your video's, you two are so entertaining, like a breath of fresh air! Also very interesting and informative, brilliant! Watching them right from the start, by Christmas should have caught up with them all! Look forward to the next year of videos. You're definitely living the dream, thanks for sharing. Oh and by the way, your dogs are so cute and gorgeous! ❤
The combination of your experience and that of the Silver Fox has provided a very balanced and enjoyable two blogs. We here in the Blue Mountains, west of Sydney Australia are just about to go to lockdown for two weeks. Your programs are a great escape and also, given that we lived in the UK for about 4 years back in the 70's, a delightful trip on memory lane. Cheers
Thank you for sharing, you all look so happy. Ps garlic buds 👍 planning to do lots more next year. Have done some chive buds, hoping they are going to be just as nice . Best wishes jac xx
Hi Fran and Rich, loving watching your trip with the Foxes... seriously envious of what you get up to. Really hope that the new boat was OK after the incident in the lock on the way back (saw it on the Foxes vlog)... Stay safe you two and keep up the great work.. Cheers and best wishes, Steve and Sue 🍷🍷
Loved it!! Hey Richard it would be great to know which bit of music is playing when on the vlog. Super choices 👍😀 Fran I bet thr Belfast sink came in handy with the Sandy dogs 😁👍🌟. And you ended with my favourite song for you guys too 💐🌟🌟 Joan
I waited to long ,taking care of everybody else, and now that I can't physically travel I am not sure. If I love armchair travel or if it fills me with regret.i am thankful you give me the option to watch you on my strong days..
I grew up on the Beatles! My mother was a super fan! I have all their albums in my iTunes library 📚. You both looked so happy to be in Liverpool! So funny Rich when you fell in the water off the board! I so enjoy your Vlogs! LM looks great! Mark in Colorado!
Pushing the limits of narrow boating with your new home, brave folk indeed as we saw the incident in the lock with Silver Fox, well done Fran for keeping your cool. Lovely tour of Liverpool, my but hasn't that changed for the better, it used to be a really scary place to be!!
Unfortunately we didn't have any footage of the lock incident so couldn't shot it but is was scary. You are right about Liverpool, it is a wonderful placebo visit.
Great vlog. Glad you enjoyed all the attractions in Liverpool and a safe trip across the Mersey. They used to call the Catholic (Metropolitan) cathedral Paddy's wigwam. You can see why 😀
Oh that was GREAT FUN! We call the wild garlic "ramps" in the Appalachian Mountains. They have lots of festivals during ramps season, especially where husband grew up in West Virginia. Been here 20+ years and they even grow in my yard but i have never had them. They make a ramps ice cream during the festival and it has never sounded interesting to me. Now, though, I am curious. This comment has gotten long and I swore I would keep them short. Liverpool has jumped ahead of London on my bucket list. Thanks!!!
Fran love your hair cut it really suits you xxx Great trip and thanks for taking us around. Would love to visit one day my great grandfather was born there but it would have been a very different city back in the day. Enjoy and looking forward to more travels.
The last time I was in Liverpool must have been around 1978. I don't recall it being a tourist attraction by any measure, but what an amazing transformation from old factories and warehouses to what you saw.
Did you go to Paddy’s Wigwam too........so funny falling off the paddle board.....did you go to the art gallery......amazing crossing the water.....great company with The Foxes......
Wow what a video, Fran And Rich, Foxes and the RNLI all in one video, what a treat, looked like you all had great fun in Liverpool and those pizza’s that i assume Colin, made look lush 😋

How enjoyable. How nice and welcoming the RNLI crew. The Manchester Ship Canal remains today an absolutely awesome pierce of infrastructure. THX
It made it so special meeting the RNLI crew, even more so as it was my mum's (Laura) favourite charity.
You guys and Sean and Colin are now the Fab Four in my book. Great travel vid of Liverpool.
Yaay!
I was hoping to see your view of the lock currents - looked horrendous from @foxesafloat - well done on another beautiful video
It was really scary and unexpected. Unfortunately our camera had just run out of charge by then so we had hardly any footage.
