Bravo Christine, you showcase our greek heritage with such integrity and humour in your fabulous recipes. And you don't leave out any 'secret' ingredients. Love from Sydney Australia 🦘🥰
I just made your koulourakia on Holy Thursday, for Greek Easter ✝️ They came out so good ! I hope they last until Sunday ! Euxaristo & Happy Greek Easter ! 🇬🇷🧿✝️
Very happy to see an upload from you, been a while, welcome back. The smell memories from Greece are strong with this one...I wish I could have some with my morning coffee tomorrow.
Hi Christine! I just made these cookies and they are amazing!!! We can’t stop eating them😋! They are so light and crisp, just the perfect cookie! Thank you again for all your recipes and videos! I realize they take a lot of time and love❤️
Thank you for your comments and I'm so glad you are enjoying my videos and recipes. I truly make them for people exactly like you. I also love that you improvise and make them your own. See you in the kitchen
Γεια σου, Christine. I love the idea of putting μαστίχα and anise in these cookies. I must tell my mom as she is preparing to bake some tonight! The one thing she does that you might find interesting is that she adds sesame seeds to the tops of them after the egg wash, but not just plain sesame seeds, she toasts the seeds in a pan first. It adds a great flavour.
Hi Christine---thanks for this wonderful recipe! Even though as you say, you don't have the resources right now to be on camera, both your enthusiasm and mastery of the subject translate very very well! I just discovered you on youtube and could see there was an "away" period. So glad I only had to wait a few days for your return, LOL. You really inspire me through your knowledge of the dish and your easy wit. I love the clarity of your instruction and I always feel happy and ready to go at the end. Please keep on keeping!!! 💞💞💞
Hi Christine!! Haven’t seen you in a while. These cakies look awesome. Definitely making them for Easter. I’m sure that they will make a few tongues wag!! Ty. Don’t stay away so long, eh! ‘Til next time….👍👍
Going to gather the spices (Amazon?) and bake these lovely cookies. I don't have a mixer like that. If I'm brave I could do it with a whisk perhaps. I'll report back here but I'm in the middle of a move so it'll be a few weeks...
I'm pretty sure you can find the spices on Amazon. If you have a hand mixer that will also be fine. Otherwise and wooden spoon is best, albeit a bit more time consuming. Good luck with your move !
I always use unsalted butter , especially in baking. That way you can control the amount of salt you add and you butter is fresher . I hope you try them
Yes, thank you. I just don't have the resources to shoot the videos with me in , so I am trying this simplified system so I can still produce great video recipes. I hope you enjoy
Great to see you again Christine.
Many thanks! It's good to be back
