...well it seems to make him happy. Who are we to take away his happiness. I get excited over finding a vintage Tonka. We all have something that makes us happy.
I live in New Zealand. We have Australian cars on the road here. Back in the 1960s when I was young. I remember these models. They were Australian Ford Falcons though. They looked exactly the same. I liked them. From Carl.
Argentina produced the ford falcon from 1962 to 1991. They all had a straight six engine and looked almost the same. I have one myself, a brown 1983 wagon, and still runs like the first day. It's a great car.
I don't like to be under geared. Today you need to be able to stay at 75 or you get run over. Stock would be 3800 rpm. Mine is 2900 rpm at 75. One guy said I basically made an overdrive. That's right, and I kept my 3 on the tree shifter, which would have had to go with an overdrive ford trans, Plus adapting the mounts and shortening the drive shaft.
@@princeoftheblues A worthwile swap would be a 5spd.trans from a Mustang or something similar. You'll have more respectable acelleration plus overdrive for freeway flying.
Before was a 200 out of a maverick. With the old Diffy I only went 65 and got about 20 or less. After it was an old 170 and got 26 or7. With the 144 I have now it is between 28 and 30. It needs rings. But I an busy with my new electric scratch build. I can cruise at 80 now but there is a lot of wind noise.
Looks like a Clenet, doesn't it. So I called the Clenet society. The guy used to be VP at Clenet. He said "No way". He said they started making them in 75. Mine is 1970. He asked me if it was made in Santa Barbara. I have no idea, but at least I know somebody there was doing that. It is a 472 Cadillac. 1970 was the last year of the separate frame and body. The drive shaft is about 18 inches long. So this is a funny car without the roll bar. Give it to a 16 year old and they would be dead in a week. I had planned to put in a different motor, as 8 MPG ain't my bag. It has the same gearing as the 5,000 lb car, and they were not slow. That engine makes 500 lbs of torque. It uses premium or it won't turn off when you turn the spark off. Should I do a video on it? I also have a limo that looks like the Excalibur, but says Scepter on it. I spoke to the Scepter guy. He said they never built a limo and it is counterfeit. It uses the Lincoln 302/4speed auto. I just bought a big ass series wound motor. I am deciding where to put it... 69 Winnebago, 70 pre-Clenet, or limo. Any votes? I love my 28 mpg Falcon.
That may be what it is. I just did a new (old) 144 engine in it, and I had a stripped U joint nut. I tried to get a kit, 2 u-bolts... You can't. They don't have the small ones for ford, even on ebay. I had to just get new 1/4 28 nuts.
Those car's were very tough very dependable. FUN to drive.
Great gas milage too, right next to 30 mpg.
If i win the lottery i will find this dude and give him my car the poor fella .
Hope those spring u bolts don't break 😮

thats 4. 35 minutes of my life I will never get back.....
I diidn't make it til the end.
I was gonna say the same thing. Pointless video. It now has a top speed of 72 mph
I had it up to 90 just the other day.

I very much like the look of the Australian Ford Falcons.
I guess if you put some 1.00 gears it'll run 220 mph .
As long as it gets you where your going.
I had a 61 straight 6 a utomatic the spider gears were welded and it had wide mudgrips it would go like a 4wd and would go 90
You made you own locker. You should have kept it.
But will it get up the hills in San Francisco.
I would want to be in San Franfreeko! LOL
That headliner will protect you from the cosmic rays! I have a 65 Chevy G10 three on the tree that's my daily driver
Might want to add some tin foil to that headliner. It just might help keep you outta the nut house😵💫

The little Falcon with stock rear gears was a dog. Putting those two something cogs in the rear will make it a snail.

@@jeromebreeding3302 I can't. I would lose my shifter. I have a bench seat so the girl goes in the middle. I don't want the floor shifter.
Great little car
I like that idea. I would like to know what your gas mileage is on the highway (before and after).

@@honeydavis5568 Thanks for the info.
Do you have info on the Clenet or Excaliber or whatever that car in the driveway is called?

By the way, that is a two seater, and I'm fine, but big people can't get in!
I had a 60 model but it was my first car and I beat the crap out of it
Delirium rampant in his mind
"Uh, there's the Hoooonda."
Old Falcons are cool. None were fast, not even the worlds fastest stock 6.
I like the falcon....but one question...why...LOL
What a heap
What do you expect? it was bought 23 years ago for $600. I had a $100 paint job.
Want a falcon????? Come to Argentina XDD. We got TONS of falcons...even a SPRINT model....
Love them ! Any Panels ?
@@JamesBond-pb2qy if you come one day,you can get, evem a 6 Cil. 3.0 version from the 80s/90s. Not only panels. And we got some pick up Ranchero too

Would love to have another 63 wagon
Amazing🤣😁👌
in argetina the falcon 62' has a 170, but the models 70' to 80' has a 188 an 221
This vato is random af… i wanna be his friend😎
You see kids why you shouldn't use drugs. If you did you would be like this guy.
Son... are you sure you don't mean the LAST-est stock 6 in the world?
OMG can you imagine how excited he would be if he discovered girls?
I liked girls so much I made 4 more. Daughters. The falcon was my last daughter's first car. $600.
Nice car! Adding bigger carb? Turbo? :)
Actually, I have an electric blower I never put on it. But it really needs an overhaul first. Rings.
My brother I appreciate all that love you God for your I hope you don't love it more than your wife just kidding
That's not a stock falcon. You're dreamin'
Ill bet cuase its the only one that still runs
A maverick or merc comet rear end will fit also.

Hell yeah! Those Maverick rear ends were geared for green light burn-outs!!! 🏁🚦🚦🏁
KOOL BEANS
All it needs now is a Tampon Dispenser mounted to the dash.
That manson
Barra the World.
Yeah I'm not driving 80 mph in one of these lol. I'm good with 60.
I couldn't resist. I took it up to 90 for just a moment last month. . Super wind noise over 60.
@@princeoftheblues you're a real one
not a Mustang V8 rearend
me my falcon and my private junk yard
Are those woman’s pants
Wow. If you say so???
I want a 2dr
I have a 1963 four on the floor for sale, I'd drive it anywhere
Lmao
Leaders of the pride parade
Lol
Pure stupidity.
Unless you have to drive it. All American cars were seriously under geared. I don't like winding out at 60.
so its not really stock LIAR!!!!!
