The backgrounds of the different E4 members is a cool touch. And man this theme rocks, it’s very underrated from what I’ve seen. Then again maybe I haven’t seen enough.
A lot of R/S/E music is banging, and well deserving of more attention than it's gotten. I still hold that the Team Magma/Aqua normal battle theme is one of the best in the series.
I like how the backgrounds also stay consistent. Main guitar being always drake, drums being always glacia and so on
This put a huge smile on my face, I played countless hours of Pokemon Emerald as a child. I knew I saw Drake in the silhouette from the last remix but I thought I was seeing things so I jumped from excitement when seeing the notification!
Probably one of my favorite E4 themes, tied with Gen 5's and Gen 7's. Is a bop.
gens 3, 5 and 7 are simply superior in general tbf

It was completely unnecessary and not entirely needed and it went the hardest
Those Hoenn Region horns, even in the game and not just in this remix always give this track that intense competitive feeling. I always considered this track that of a head banger one, and keeping the horns in it was a great move. Awesome job man!

Not only was this totally amazing - the bridge was Victory Road! As a big Hoenn fanatic, this literally made me smile from start to end. And I always love the acoustic shorts at the end of each song, sometimes I wish there was a full version of them.
I do believe that Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire was the first Pokemon game(s) to have a unique battle theme for the Elite Four; Red/Green/Blue/Yellow and Gold/Silver/Crystal just reused the Gym Leader battle music for the Elite Four.
This battle theme is appropriately epic for the strongest trainers in that region, and this an appropriately epic cover of said theme! Nice one, Jonny!
Edit: having Bowser and Zelda be the ones clapping was awesome, I love it so much!
Yeah you right about this being the first unique Elite Four theme. And the Gen 4 went back to having just them share the gym leader theme. Yeah it's pitched different, but if Gen 3 and 5 were anything to go by a unique theme really helped set the stage for the " 4 most elite trainers"

You can't make a crazy remix like the Hoenn Elite Four while ALSO giving us a taste of one of the absolute best OST from the Pokemon Series (Wally's Battle Theme - ORAS). That's just too good! And yes, I think Wally's "Final" theme is one of absolute best soundtrack. It's so fitting, it makes the whole fight like a tragic destiny battle. It makes Wally just a perfect rival.

Compliments aside, the Hoenn Elite Four have always had a place in my heart.
They weren't the first that I faced, but they were always the most challenging and unique: Sidney, despite using the Dark Type, is a very chill and spirited guy; Phoebe, despite looking like a Water Type Trainer, uses Ghost, which is an unusual type to train compared to others, being so rare. Her unusual design matches the unusuality of the Ghost Type, which I adore; Glacia's love for *flaming* passion contrasts with her Type specialty; and additionally, Drake's pre-battle dialogue scene has to be my favorite in the entire series!

Man, there's a bunch of reason why your stuff is so cool. The mixing, the production quality, the sound you're able to get out of your guitar; I could go on.
But, I think my favourite part of coming to watch your videos every time you put one out is that you always, and without fail, match the energy of the original composition and that's at an absolute bare minimum, I've not found a single one of your covers that hasn't at least been as hype as the source material.
There's a lot of artists that will make a good cover, but they often lose something as they're trying to recreate the thing. You, on the other hand, seem to be able to multiply that excitement while also keeping the essence of the original intact and it still sounds like you've gone and made it your own.
That's some serious power, man. You've got a gift.

Honestly this probably beats out Wood Man for my favorite GaMetal of the year, I love the touches of the Victory Road bit and the original horn sample.
