Thank you for your time, Cory, and knowledge. I lost my tank when i had to move to an r.v due to high rent. Your channel allows me to still see beautiful tanks and listen to a wealth of knowledge. It means a lot!
Super excited for the 4.5hr live stream, as a nerm I've listened to all of your streams and if memory serves me right if this is one of the longest ones you've done! Thanks for all your time and knowledge Cory!
Been out of the hobby for over 20 years but after finding the Aquarium Co-Op channel I want to pull our aquarium out of storage. Thanks for being an inspiration. Disappointed that all the local fish stores in the local area have disappeared.
Yes there is room for improvement on UV lights. Good question. They need to make some that allow you to adjust power and flow rate. At the least flow rate.
I enjoy just listening to you while I’m doing other things. As to your videos like this making me go place an order, I’d say not so much. But what I’d like to see is Lizzy doing more scraping videos using your different plants with fish suggestions in larger tanks than 10 gallons. Suggestions where the rest of us can order hardscape items would be helpful.
Cory I agree that marine salt at that dose is beneficial I’ve tried it from your videos in the past here is my question though if I use the marine salt is it safe to dose easy green as well? Or one or the other. Thanks so much for all you do for this hobby
LIVE LONG FORM VIDEOS. I've watched every single live stream on the channel absolutely love it. Thank you for doing these even though they are bad for the algorithm
Cory, you spoke about where you should spend your time and tracking your sales. When I listen to your live broadcast, it makes me want to go to my closet retail partner store and buy Aquarium Co-Op products there. I have bought stuff from you when my local store doesn't have it, such as lights. I know that you track what RPS sells but I would think it would be hard to track sells from live broadcast at RPS. Just my 2 cents. Thanks for everything you do Cory.
Most people seem to make knee-jerk reactions to surface level headlines! Not many can hold a deep complex conversation without running to a conspiracy theory.
I understand the problem with heaters. I replace mine every 1-2 years. 40 years ago I had a heater overheat and kill some fish my father and I had for over 6 years including a huge angle fish.
People just don’t get how much is involved in running a business and what it takes to develop products . If it was that easy , everyone would do it !! My job involves selling a “ product” that looks very easy on the surface and I get to hear grumbling everyday about how much it costs . They don’t see the $8000 monthly property tax , constant building repairs , not to mention I like getting paid , lol ! But, I’ve also learned that a lot of complainers are disingenuous. They complain to get stuff out if you not because they really care . You have to learn to let them slide off your back cuz this becomes miserable otherwise . Your business is growing because most people can tell you’re offering a superior shopping experience and top products . Negative people are always louder . Listen to the people who are giving their opinion with their wallet .
UV lamps are only effective for 1 year, 2 at most for industrial applications. Even when you see light it may be expired. You also have to get the proper spectrum
The number and types of vidoes does not influence my purchases from Aquarium Coop. I now know what I like to purchase from you. I keep a spreadsheet and build my list of what I need/want to purchase and once it reaches the free shipping I place my order.
Both of my 100 watt aquarium coop heaters developed water inside the heating element and didn't kick an error code. just one month outside their warranty I always have a floating thermometer to check . My Amazon copycat that I purchased at the sometime is still going strong. I like the coop lights btw
My 100 watt coop heater keeps my 75 gallon at 76° F no problem. It’s in the basement, the average temp of which is 68°. Currently has no light, just a Fluval 407 canister filter providing extra wattage. You definitely don’t need as much wattage as people say.
I brought home some mollies and they’re in the quarantine tank and they ALL have camallanus worms… the reason I noticed, was because I treated with aquarium salts & they’re all pushing them out….will heavy salt completely kill & heal my fish? Thanks man!
Hey Cory! Have you done any research into beta-glucan for fish? My initial digging has indicated that it IS a proven immune system booster for fish. There are several studies and articles written on it that I have come across. It appears to be something that does improve the health of fish that is not a medication.
Naw Cory, the value offered from the Aquarium Coop products is crazy. When I buy Aquarium Coop, I know I'm gonna buy once and it'll work. If I buy something from Amazon, I expect it to break in 3 months and/or start a fire, and I'll have to replace it (and end up paying more in the long run). Just recommended the coop light to a buddy who's kid dipped their light into the tank and broke it. It hurts to fork out the cash, but it feels better to fork out the cash for something I know isn't gonna break when it goes into the water.
Thanks for the feedback. I laugh, when the internet tells me, no one ever drops their light etc... Specific people may have never dropped their light. When you look at say 100k people. You find oh, 3% of them are dropping lights each year :) Whether its a kid, cat, accident, medical issue etc.
Your last video that I saw was about reducing effort Vs enjoyment in the hobby. What are your thoughts on walstad/deep substrate/heavily planted and how it feeds into that lifestyle ?
I think walstad vs other substrates are the same. The difference would be the plants for me. Fast growing plants like stem plants and floaters with either method are time consuming to keep up on.
The type of filter may not matter to you, because you have an auto water change system. I’m willing to wager you would have a different opinion if you had to manually water change your tanks.

Is not the longest... He used to do 12 hour long streams on Thanksgiving and, I think, Christmas... That was many, many years ago now...
@@kurtisstutzman7056 I thought I remembered that but I scrolled back through TH-cam and didn't see any lol I was wondering if I was tripping 😂
Back when I did listen to all the streams it was on the app so they kind of blend together lol
@@KeeperCain116 Maybe they removed them...? But I remember them... I'm a member, so maybe I have more access..?! Thanks...
Enjoyed longer live stream.. thank you
The stream lasted two days of commuting. Thank you for making a great week for me Cory. I placed an order to show with dollars how much I liked this.
Replay crew. I enjoy listening to these livestreams during my long commute.
Happy for you Cory that you are able to continue this. As for me I had to discontinue my aquarium fish passion since I was 6 years old, 60 years ago.
Nice to hangout with you after being live! Appreciate your streams
This long live stream was a great treat.
Oh now I want to see full frame pictures of your pups!

You Have the best info love listening to you I have a 55 gallon and a 30 gallon

Super excited for your 4 hour live stream! Finally something good to listen to at work 👍🤙
Hey Cory! Love your work. I remember reading Tank Geek back in the day haha!
Your first holiday video sparked me for sure, and the fact you still have that mentality is 👌

You're right, that is hard to track, but I have read your comment and will remember it when looking at things ;)
Cory is 💯 correct as far as the cost to retail something! I run a retail business and Cory is spot on!!!! It's not easy!!!

I love the livestreams. Feel like I gain a wealth of knowledge! I would order to boost stats but can’t quite right now.

Heard sale on brine shrimp eggs and ordered 3 less gooo
I like the aquatop HOB with UV Light because you can turn it off when its not needed. Its easy to change the bulb also.
Love the new location for the lives!!! 🤩

I have 5 of the aquarium co op heaters. I had no idea that there was a problem with them. I haven’t had any issues.
I got so many laughs of Cory explaining why things cost what they do / people thinking "it's just so easy." So good. 😂

Cory, I love your fast food/take-out food-based analogies.
Also curious about otocinclus Vs Blackbeard, are they hungry for it?
Is this his longest live stream? Love it!!!
I love it when Cory has to explain basic economics.

Aqua brand UV lights are very nice. They are used in saltwater tanks commonly. UV is a solved problem, just an expensive piece of kit.
Tinky stickers? She looks like a sweet dog I lost a few years ago.

One teaspoon of salt per 20 gallons of WATER CHANGED; not per 20 gallons of total aquarium volume, correct?

Poor bronze corys getting no love. Those are some super hardy fish I like them a lot but I agree 10$ is a bit high

Still undecided about what's for dinner? Try indian food. I know you are a fan. And for dessert, try ras-malai. Let me know how it tastes.
I’ll order it the next time I see it on a menu.
