- In this video we cover our perfectly 👌 dialed in ECU mapping, our refined engine braking maps, maps we wish we could adjust in the current software, what we love about this new bike, and what we really wish they would've included or changed on the new model!
Our ECU Flashing Service for these bikes is available on our website 👉 2WDW.com 👈 for $349.99. If you have ANY questions about getting your new MT-09 properly tuned and dialed in, don't hesitate to email us at support@2wheeldynoworks.com. We are ALWAYS happy to help! - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ
Y’all are the best out there. Great info as always
I do love the sound of that triple on the track!
Especially in the upper mid to top it dosent even need an exhaust the way the intake note sounds.
You hang off side of it sumo style in hard corners becuase of the goofy ass bar height and your helmet is right beside the air snorkel under the tank and you're like ahh dayum that's some sexy music
After swapping the rear shock and the Andriani fork cartridges from you guys at TST, that crazy front end shake is GONE… I just turned my steering damper to zero for 95% of riding.
Just bought a mt10 sp few months ago and pretty much the same thing, front end wonders everywhere and ran out of tire very easy, swapped the rear for 200/55 and the front is planted and doesn’t wonder or shake anymore.
Oh the no dampener is a real problem, to me on mine is really the only thing it needs!
Great job
This is good stuff... for all trackday junkies out there trying to get one of this bikes, definitely will help to make your final decision if mt09 is the one you need
The tires flex so much, please don't get scared off by this.
Put the bike a bit more on the nose you will be fine. Or even better get to the suspension guy at the track 👊
They need to put this engine in a proper sportbike already. Just take the R6 and shoehorn this glorious engine in.
Put it into a chassis that isn't wheelie-happy and actually is stable at speed.
The R9 is coming 😉
@@2wheeldynoworks That's what they've been saying for years.
@@2wheeldynoworks I'll believe it when the dealers are bending me over the finance table to buy it.
Samee. Everyone wants it but they refuse to bring it @@future62
Great video. Any plans to add a steering damper? & if so, what make?
None are currently listed for the 24 model, but we will be testing one that we think might work! We'll cover it if it does.
He’s a big guy
Can you explain how to get that blue yellow and red on the dash. On my gen4 its only blue colour...
moving the oem pegs up will be better?
Is the tune specific to the type/brand exhaust that one is putting on their bike? I have an SC Projects CRT that I have for the 2024 that I plan on putting on tomorrow.
A bike that the speedo actually reads right. I have to run all my Kawasaki's with Ulysses speedo on my phone. My ZH2 is the worst. At an indicated 150 plus its at least 10mph off. Even my z125 pro is off 5. Terrible and it drives me crazy.
Good video by the way.
What do you look like on the bike at 6’9” ?
You think there will be an ABS delete later on?
Does this change the reported 2nd gear gimping from Yamaha?
Subbed!
Nice riding!
In terms of pure FUN factor, how would you rate this bike to a 890/990 KTM?
The LC8c is plagued with prematurely wearing camshafts. Beware if you're in the market.
My fz09 at 161 was stupid scary only did that once
Ty god i thought my mt 09 is broken cuz it wobble like crazy over 100.
do you tune the 24 xsr900
Next video, i wanna see if your 6'9"
I met Nate in real life I am 5'10 and 200 lbs he made me look like I am 5 feet teenager standing next to him
He flashed my bike today, he is indeed very tall.
Do you guys do this same engine brake testing with the 22+ MT10?
Yup!
Need to see you sitting on that bike to tell how large you are. :p
My Gen3 09 SP's speedo reads 66Mph at a GPS indicated 60mph. 🤔
Great Video! What was your video capture setup? Keep the videos coming!
did you know if they get ride of the top speed limiter ? i have seen 150 in 6th gear on a dyno...
Please read what you wrote and tell me what is wrong with it.
@@StreetPiratesTV
every one knows those bike are top speed limited from the beginning
youtube.comwatch?v=MKMz_EbvlXk
now last gen on the dyno
youtube.comwatch?v=QO4uH2c3sgs
150 mph in 6th bone stock
@@StreetPiratesTV nothing wrong with it mt09 are top speed limited from the beginning and i've seen a bone stock gen 4 doing 240km/h instead of 230 km/h on the gen 3
Will you be testing M4 Exhaust?
Absolutely. It's already on the way to us!
@@2wheeldynoworks Awsome! Yall might have a new customer soon.
Cb1000r vs mto9 2024
The SP might have improvements you'd appreciate.
Does this one have the AIS system similar to Gen1 and Gen2 bikes that people removed?
No, there is no AIS on the 3rd and 4th Gen CP3s.
I just don't see recovering that ~4 to 5 horsepower loss on this '24 model vs the last year. Not much you can do about a smaller airbox that doesn't have ram air or some other solution.
It's all noise and emissions compliance. It gets old.
with the airbox mod and a sprintfilter it may recover 2 or 3
@@sural89 On 2wdw website, the 2014 model was making 118/66 from 43cc smaller engine. The '21+ model making 115/70. Big torque improvement, but the bike gained some weight and lost some top end. Now the 24 model comes along so far making even less hp. The engine is brilliant. The problem has always been the chassis and the air-support equipment feeding/exhausting the engine. Almost frustrating enough to want to stick money into a Z900 instead, which never had a chassis issue, a front stability issue, and is massively wide powerband at the top end making near 130 hp on some dynos for like the last 3,000 rpm. Also the 948 is a very smooth engine, unlike triples. I still like the CP3 charm, but it's chassis lets it down. I'm not a wheelie hound.
@@exothermal.sprocket dyno number mean nothing unless there made the same day on the same dyno, weight wise gen 3 is the lightest of all at 189kg and is stronger on the road
i have ride every gen mt09 and sold my z900 for a gen 3 mt09
as much as i hate the chassis of the first 2 gen the gen 3 chassis is really really good and the gen 4 is even better
z900 is good but feel like a tank in comparison, stock engine is dull and linear with an exhaust it start to wake up but only between 8 to 11 bike is dated not even a quickshifter/blipper
test ride a gen 3 or gen 4 mt09 and you will sold your z900 assap
@@sural89 2014 FZ-09 was 414 lb wet.
2017 MT-09 was 425 lb wet.
2021 MT-09 is 417 lb wet.
2024 MT-09 is 425 lb wet.
All facts based on web archives for the Yamaha website.
@@exothermal.sprocket
gen 1 is 421 with abs / 414 without
7lb/1kg who care it feel like crap anyway
But the new headlight is kinda gross lol.
One of the best parts of riding this thing is not having to look at the front end while you're on it! 😂
