He used to my guitar teacher at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music from August until December 1982. He didn’t live that far from my location at that time and when I used to have classes with him, he used to come and pick me up and drive me back in the afternoon. He was and still is such an enormous wonderful, absolutely calm and definitely an very thoughtful and the kindest person I have ever met. I took private lessons with him at his house after conservatory short lived months. I used to bike to his place. I took with me in a back bag an extra shirt to change in his bathroom and towel because I was sweating. He had extra guitars that I used during our lessons. Going downhill was great
Beautiful version. This musical time in Brazil never ceases to amaze me. I have heard more than one waltz perhaps inspired by the music of European salons. Without being a musical anthropologist, I noticed something very beautiful there.🧚🧚
Mr. George Sakellariou I'd like to thank your performing and posting this master piece " Se ela perguntar" by Dilermano Reis, my dad who is a guitar player and musician ( he performed with famous brazilian group Trio Irakitan) played this song for me many times when I was young, I'm trying to learn this one now, and your video just being very inspirational your impeccable performance transmitting such a calm and peaceful feeling. Bravíssimo e muito obrigado!
Desde el comienzo me fascinó su sonido y la musicalidad en sus interpretaciones!! Orgulloso de haber sido su discípulo querido Maestro!! Gracias eternas!!
@@gabriellopez-torres8332 I play this piece once in a while, as well as my 8 and 10 y. o. kids, if you want to know what I mean, watch Se Ela Perguntar played by David Russell.

Dilermando wrote such beautifull music. One of my favourites
George's playing makes me fall in love with the guitar all over again.
