I present to you my latest project, that I hatched on a special request from my mom :) She's an enchanted chick, that springs to life on this special day!
As always I stumbled a little along the way, but in the end, I think she turned out pretty sweet.

Watching you work on the "drop by drop" sculpting in a timelapse is so satisfying.

It is beautiful. I love your art! It is a bit creepy, and really different from the other dolls artist that I follow. It is creepy but a fascinating creepy!

I think that you are doing some realistic art but as it's fantasy stuff, (by the way really original, never though of doing a chicken fairy) it is turning out... creepy?
I think that it turn out creepy with the difference with what we are usually thinking about with dolls transformation.
Well, it's my guess, maybe it's not the same for others.

@@heyidonthaveanameidea2487 I think also part of the creepy vibe is the base dolls being Monster High - these dolls have long, slender proportions and spidery hands. Not that I'm complaining - I love spooky dolls! Especially realistically styled fantasy stuff.

I think everyone was recommending acrylic gouache, which would have fixed all the problems you're describing. Amazing doll!
They never said "acrylic gouaches" just "gouaches".... but maybe. All I know after this project is that I don't like regular gouaches at all :P
Honestly I love Easter. I’m not religious at all, but it’s one of my favourite holidays. My cousins live an almost five hour drive away but we always visit them, and do an egg hunt. I will be an adult in a few years, but I still always do egg hunts with my younger cousins, it’s tradition, and I love the time I get to spend with them while we do it :)
I never would have guessed that being a dentist could help with doll customizing. Really neat how you can take skills and techniques from your job and apply them to dolls
Dentists and dental technicians need to be good sculptors :) And their tools are great and often used by a regular sculptors in fact :) So it is a great combination ^_^

It is the beginning of September when I am watching this. I want to start painting Easter eggs right away so that I can hatch a chicken fairy😂 She is wonderful and I don’t blame your mom for wanting a new fairy for every single occasion❤

Gouche is not a great medium, which is why most people don’t use it. Oils are great but take forever to dry. To extend the life of your acrylic add a floating medium or gel medium to the paint. Clear obviously so not to interfere with your paint color. You are doing great work and I love your eggshell had a Pysanki design. How appropriate for Easter:)

You are an amazing doll-maker! The fact that you show us the whole process from start to finish (even the mistakes) is super encouraging. Being able to see into the process of your creations reminds me that there is a lot of emotions that go into creating any form of art, and that makes it even more beautiful.

i LOVE how it turned out! also those wings are so good! the only suggestion i have is that maybe the addition of a short bird tail-feathers would had completed the bird-harpy look, but that aside she's so pretty omg...
