- Welcome to a review of Hard Truck Apocalypse (a.k.a. Ex Machina) and its expansion Hard Truck Apocalypse: Rise of Clans (Ex Machina: Meridian 113).
After making let's play series of both games I decided to give my summed up opinion on this game for those who wonder how Mad Max would look like if it was made by Russians.

This game had serious potential but it's pretty obvious the developer team made the game for fun and it wasn't meant to be a big hit or something. This game played quite a role in everyone's childhoods and same as mine, I think they did a perfect job on the music and models but the story is quite short and feels dragged on with very rushed endings even tho the boss fights are pretty epic. I feel like if they put in a bit of more hard work this game could have been a massive hit at that time because to this day the game feels very special. I really wish for another part of this game even tho it's pretty obvious it won't happen
Edit: I wanna say the same thing about the 2nd game except both of the games feel a bit empty and many things were left unclear so I feel like it would be a great addition to make another game that does a lot better on the story, graphics and overall many small fixes that need to happen. Boss fights are very interesting and I would love to see more of them if possibly a new game comes out. I bet most of you can relate to me and to Dom and the video overall is amazing.
Lately I've been playing this, and I really like how it's a mix of jank, mad max, twisted metal, and hard truck king of the road.
This is literaly best game from my childhood!
