On the first year of dating, my husband lost his job and got into a depression after being unable to get re-employed. I supported him emotionally and financially for almost a year while he struggle in getting his licence as a registered dialysis nurse (career change). He eventually passed and got a job. Then I had to go back to school later on and he supported me. Now, we both have good paying jobs. Be patient with each other. Building life together does not happen overnight.
Both have to be committed to the marriage for his to work. Much respect that you both were able to support each other. I married too young didn't know myself or may husband. I didn't even know he has a pretty severe disability undiagnosed he wasn't able to read and comprehend what he was trying to read. He needed to learn NFPA codes in order to keep his job and gain his certifications. I sat reading every code that was required reading ao boring 14 hours of non stop reading codes into a tape recorder so he could listen in his truck while driving to calls. He passed his test first try. I guess he also sold the tapes to friends so they could pass the tests too. Once his carers took off he began cheating feeling like this options were open.

It's called financial planning. Some couples have to be serious in finances otherwise they would spend their salary away on shopping, games, beers, etc. Some couples are poor thus they have to be serious in making sure they have enough for rent and grocery and some savings for rainy days.

I had financial problems and I left my wife after 20 years of marriage, because she was the financial problems. She always telling me I never made enough No matter how much I made or how many hours I worked. I gave her all my love and all my money and she couldn't respect it. Now I raise my 2 teenage kids all by myself With out any assistance from her, she's a dead beat. She didn't even call her kids on Christmas. Now I have plenty of money in the bank. I bought me a nice red challenge super bee and a lifted 4 door Jeep Rubicon and I can afford everything now without her controlling my finances. When my wife and I were dating, I paid for everything. When she finished her degree and the Great Recession was in full force, I paid for everything. When she got a good job that requires us to move, I quit to go with her. She paid for everything. When we had to move 3 times in one year, she paid for everything. When we were both working, we built up credit and paid off debt. When I went back to school, we could afford to live on one income. Now that I have finished and am making more than both of us combined before the degree, she can expand her dreams now. We built this life together and never gave up even when we thought it would end. It was not easy and we did have hard times. That's life but we are living good and making new memories. Find that right person and make it work. It's hard out there but it is worth it when it comes together for you!

I supported him in everything and every decision. After a couple of months things got better, his situation changed. Years later we now have our own home and a wonderful baby. People in general are sympathetic and patient with the ones they love. In case of betrayal due to finance issues, it could be due to lack of love. Also, financial stability is something that attracts female instincts, just like how beauty attracts male. Funny story. I've been married for 4 years now, and I supported my wife totally for the entirety of our marriage. She didn't had to work at all, I paid for everything. She decided to study, so I paid for that as well. Now she just started working, and even thought she's no making tons a money, she receives a rent allowance from her job to cover rent as a tax-free money deal. She asked me for the rental agreement we have so she could prove she was paying rent to access the benefit. This money gets deposited directly to her bank account. I honestly thought she was going to pay for the rent, now that I am struggling a bit with work. After she asked for the document, she said she was going to pay half of the rent only. I still pay for all bills, groceries and all else. 😂

You need to let her know how this situation makes you feel. Lay it on her like you did here. I do obviously care about a woman's looks(not superficial, its human nature), but obviously personality is first. Good looks is what draws me in, but then good personality is what makes me stay. Those are literally my only 2 standards for women. Men rather have a cute girl that they actually sexually desire, not some rich woman that can give them money. That's why you will mainly see women with rich ugly men(who are mostly old and crusty AF) that the women don't even really like or sexually attracted to. But you rarely see the reverse, like men will not date an ugly woman, no matter how rich she is, its just embarrassing and men want a woman that can actually make us hard. I'm a man and personally only want to make my own money anyway. I would never want to deal with the stress of leeching off other people.

On the first year of dating, my husband lost his job and got into a depression after being unable to get re-employed. I supported him emotionally and financially for almost a year while he struggle in getting his licence as a registered dialysis nurse (career change). He eventually passed and got a job. Then I had to go back to school later on and he supported me. Now, we both have good paying jobs. Be patient with each other. Building life together does not happen overnight.

I didn't even know he has a pretty severe disability undiagnosed he wasn't able to read and comprehend what he was trying to read. He needed to learn NFPA codes in order to keep his job and gain his certifications. I sat reading every code that was required reading ao boring 14 hours of non stop reading codes into a tape recorder so he could listen in his truck while driving to calls. He passed his test first try. I guess he also sold the tapes to friends so they could pass the tests too. Once his carers took off he began cheating feeling like this options were open.

When my wife and I were dating, I paid for everything. When she finished her degree and the Great Recession was in full force, I paid for everything. When she got a good job that requires us to move, I quit to go with her. She paid for everything. When we had to move 3 times in one year, she paid for everything. When we were both working, we built up credit and paid off debt. When I went back to school, we could afford to live on one income. Now that I have finished and am making more than both of us combined before the degree, she can expand her dreams now. We built this life together and never gave up even when we thought it would end. It was not easy and we did have hard times. That's life but we are living good and making new memories. Find that right person and make it work. It's hard out there but it is worth it when it comes together for you!

Funny story. I've been married for 4 years now, and I supported my wife totally for the entirety of our marriage. She didn't had to work at all, I paid for everything. She decided to study, so I paid for that as well.
Now she just started working, and even thought she's no making tons a money, she receives a rent allowance from her job to cover rent as a tax-free money deal. She asked me for the rental agreement we have so she could prove she was paying rent to access the benefit. This money gets deposited directly to her bank account. I honestly thought she was going to pay for the rent, now that I am struggling a bit with work.
After she asked for the document, she said she was going to pay half of the rent only. I still pay for all bills, groceries and all else. 😂

Cuz men are generally different, a woman's looks are way more important than her money, for most men. I'm a guy and I don't care if a woman is piss poor and works at McDonald's, as long as she's super cute and cool, vast majority of men think the same way(my girlfriend actually does work at Taco Bell, lol! IDC TBH, she's still hella cute and cool).
I wouldn't even date a very rich woman that would buy me anything if she's ugly. Like even if a billionaire woman like Oprah approached me and was all up on me, I'd still be like,"No, I'm good." LOL! Cuz I wouldn't ever hit that, wouldnt even touch Oprah with a 200ft pole. But if some random poor cute nobody woman with no money approached me, but her looks are like a 8/10 - 10/10, I'd accept her super fast.
Women care about their man making money more, and a man's social status, work status, etc. But good still girls exist. Men care about a woman's actual looks way more. I do obviously care about a woman's looks(not superficial, its human nature), but obviously personality is first. Good looks is what draws me in, but then good personality is what makes me stay. Those are literally my only 2 standards for women.
Men rather have a cute girl that they actually sexually desire, not some rich woman that can give them money. That's why you will mainly see women with rich ugly men(who are mostly old and crusty AF) that the women don't even really like or sexually attracted to. But you rarely see the reverse, like men will not date an ugly woman, no matter how rich she is, its just embarrassing and men want a woman that can actually make us hard.
I'm a man and personally only want to make my own money anyway. I would never want to deal with the stress of leeching off other people.

Well, it's easier for a man to be the provider if he is a millionaire or lives in a third world country. But an average man who lives in a first world country, it is harder for just one person to provide for the whole family.

there are about 90million adult males under the age of 65. about 10 million millionaires, guessing about 7 million of them are males. so 90 mil divided by 7 mil means that roughly 1 in 13 men qualify as a provider. and many of those qualified men are already married. this means that less than 8% of the adult male population can meet the 1st requirement (a good "provider") of a woman.
and even if a man does meet the requirement... he will have a 70% chance of divorce (regardless of a prenup). i think my odds are better at the casino.

Thank you Mr Fierce :-) and in response to your statement i can say that the media doesn't help. It always tends to portray the woman that was there when the man had nothing as the first to go when the money comes. Which is indirectly telling women not to waste time investing in men who are up and coming because your loyalty will never be rewarded, which is a shame as that's not always the case.
