    Sis - thank you for this ❤I’ve been depressed and demoralised due to PCOS, I’ve been working out x5 a week, no carbs and eating a calorie deficit and still gained weight. This video has helped as I’ll be speaking to my GP about metformin.

      Thank you for watching! I share to hopefully help someone else. PCOS is so challenging. Different things work for different people. Metformin worked wonders for me. I truly hope you find what works for you.

      I just got my Metformin again yesterday! The first time was a huge success but stopped it too early and gained all my symptoms and weight back. Yikes. Will not be making that mistake again this time around!

      I'm glad this inspired you to at least try. I've gone on this journey with an open mind to TRY. If it's not too risky and fear is the only thing causing hesitation then conquer that fear and try. You deserve to find what works for you with this condition to feel and live better.

    Hi! When you said no sugar. Did you not eat fruits? When you said low carbs, did you eat rice in moderation or have sweet potatoes ?

    • @iamtyeishamills
      @iamtyeishamills  หลายเดือนก่อน

      The only fruits I had were berries. I’m personally a blueberry, strawberry, raspberry kind of person. I did zero rice. No regular bread, mostly net carb wraps. I did sweet potatoes but rarely.

      @@Michelleleigh83 oh no! I’m sorry to hear that. Metformin worked for me but it is not for everyone. Highly recommend you talking to your doctor about what can be contributing and other options.

    Why did she say no carbs? I’m on metformin and have had no symptoms at all. I can eat everything and haven’t changed my diet at all.

      Everyone is different. She recommended I follow the low glycemic index diet, carbs have a high GI index. Eating carbs would've worked against my weight loss. I was on metformin for a year before getting pregnant and saw the difference eating too many carbs made in my progress.

      @@jasminmalfaro Hey! At the time the goal was 4 net carbs a day. Now it’s 10. I dnt think I ever tracked exactly how many I just cut out sugar and carbs as much as possible.
