This is a very popular fishing spots, you could find it so popular according the hooks and line on the ground.
I catch up half an hour to Botany Bay shore jigging, and first of all, found so many line and hooks on the ground , some line are very long , more than 20m, never see a fishing spots like this one , I tool some line and hooks, I could not took all of them cause I just have half an hour fishing here, hope all fishing men could do the right thing, and keep the beautiful popular fishing spot clean and safe.

Just subscribed to you this evening. Love yr series- Best spots around Sydney. Great how you share yr best spots. The way you take yr fishing time to clean up after the people who leave all their rubbish is really refreshing. They don’t realise their tardiness and neglect gives a bad social impression of all us fishermen in the greater community. Unfortunately when they don’t take their mess with them it makes others think badly of the fishing community. Then policies in Government can come into play. Such as banning fishing in these areas. So good to see you trying to do the best for us all!

Those lines on the oysters mostly from people who cast their bait from high up and when they retrieve their line back, they wouldn’t bother to come down and their hook stuck and end up staying there. Happened so many times. We advise them but they just cbf 🤦♂️.
